"i got 95 percent!" woojin said proudly, waving his exam paper in front of her.
yoomi responded with a smirk, "97 percent."
he looked at her with disbelief before shaking his head in defeat.
"again? fine, what's the deal this time?" he ruffled his hair in frustration before sitting down on her desk, waiting for humiliation.
"i'll go easy on you this time, let's just watch a movie! you can pay for the tickets and food," she said. he patted his rapidly beating heart and sighed in relieve.
"thank god! i thought you were going to make me run around the school with a bra again," he rolled his eyes and shivered as he imagined the embarrassing moment once again.
"that was the best, you've got to thank me for making you popular."
"i was already popular to begin with."
"whatever you say, park woojin."
"admit it, ha yoomi."
he was grateful, ha yoomi became comfortable with him, and he developed a sort of feeling towards her that he wished had never existed.
he didn't want her to leave, ever. it was like having a primary school crush all over again. he was too scared to admit, too afraid to let go.
but this time, he was confident that he will get her. and if he does happen to have this girl, he would never let go.

"why is the line so long?" he groaned like a child and rested his elbow on yoomi's shoulder. although he was quite short, yoomi was shorter. she crossed her arms and glared at him.
"you have legs, stand properly," she smacked him on the arm.
he chuckled quietly, "but you are the perfect height for an arm rest. and perfect as his girlfriend.
she pushed him away from her as far was possible as he pouted, "you don't love me anymore?"
"of course i love you," she smiled and jumped up to put her arm around his neck.
his smile faded, but she didn't seem to notice. she loved him, but never to the extent of how much he loves her, never the same way as how he loves her.
they walked into the cinema, sitting next to each other in the middle of the very back row. the movie started to play, but all he could see were the starry sky and the actors reflecting on her pupils. his eyes were on her throughout the entire movie- except for the times when he thought she would catch him staring, and he didn't even realise that he was leaning closer towards her until he could see her scar clearly.
he didn't know why she hates it so much, she wasn't much of a confident person to start with and the scar just pulled her self-esteem further down. however, he liked every part of her, including the parts she lacked in.
he wouldn't say that she was a goddess level, but she was the most perfect imperfection.
"woojin?" she glanced at him with the corner of her eyes for a second and looked back at the movie immediately, being too engrossed in it.
he didn't think about retreating when hr finally noticed the short distance that exists between his lips and her scar. Instead, he moved the strand of hair out of the way as he planted a feather-like kiss on her scar, which to her felt like a brush on her skin with his hand. it was too light and she was too concentrated to notice.
just like his feelings to her, she didn't seem to notice that either.
