I felt the void suck me in. I gave up on trying to escape as I felt myself go through the void. The void threw me around as I couldn't see what was going on. I kept my eyes closed, not wanting to open them...

I could feel the cold floor beneath me and all I felt was pain, pain, and more sharp pains throughout my body. I managed to open my eyes slowly. Wait.. My eyes? No..? Wait, what?! My vision! It was so... different... I looked at my paws but they were.. tentacles?! I screamed but all that came out was gibberish. I immediately covered my mouth with my tentacles. Am I?.. No, it's not possible. I immediately looked around for anything that could reflect and I noticed that I was in a cave. I finally found a puddle on the cave floor and I immediately jumped in front of it, looking down at my own reflection. I gasped and couldn't believe it. I was looking at a phantom through the reflection. This can't be true! I've been turned into a rotten phantom! I walked, well, more like levitated back and forth nervously.
"This isn't possible, right? Why am I phantom now?! Has this happened to anyone else? I can't be the only one who's been through this right? RIGHT?!" I yelled loudly.
*Crunch*
I turned around suddenly, the tentacles on top of my head twitching violently like antennas. I could.. sense someone. My antennas kept moving around like as if it was telling me where the victim is. Wait, victim? I brushed it off, too consumed to think about it.
*Crunch*
"Shhhh! You're going to attract it over to us!"
It sounded like a faint whisper, but I was able to hear. This time I knew where they were. They were behind a boulder so I slowly approached it, trying to make no noise. As I neared it, two small foxes jumped out and they each had what looked like water guns.
"Freeze! We know your weakness so don't even try to get near us!" One of the foxes said. He was a dark red fox wearing a red scarf and a red star hat.
"Yeah! What he said!" Said the other. She was a dark blue fox wearing a blue scarf and she had a blue bandage on her forehead. Both of these foxes seemed young, so I assumed they were children.
I was utterly confused. Weakness? I know phantoms are weak to chomper plants and seeds, but water guns? I shook the thought and immediately felt something tingling throughout my body. It was.. so powerful, like a shock!
"Wait, a sho-?"
But before I could stop myself, I let out an electrical shock at both of them. Surprisingly, they avoid it with ease. Then, they aimed their water guns at me and shot me right in my eye. Never in my life have I felt such pain! What was even in that water?! Bleach?! It stung my eye so much! I gurgled in pain as I tried to stop the stinging, covering my eye.
"There's our chance!" Said the female one, as I felt a net on top of me.
I tried to break free but with my eye stinging it was nearly impossible to do. I barely managed to open my eye to catch a glimpse that the children were dancing happily around me, only to close them back again.
"We actually caught a phantom! Mom is going to be proud!" I heard the male say.
"I know! Now we can have a free pet and not waste our diamonds!" Squealed the female, making my ears hurt.
