Jamylin's POV

I was about to sit on a couch, but I suddenly felt pain in my stomach. The pain lasted for a couple seconds and when it stopped, I suddenly felt wetness from my behind. I panicked, I had no idea with what was going on.

My tears started to flow and I started to scream his name.

"Skylar! Sky...... Help me! Please, please help..", there was no respond.

I continued to sob and made an attempt to look for the keys. I suddenly heard footsteps, Sky looked at me with a face filled with anger and started to walk towards me.

"What the fuck do you want? You dramatic bitch."

"Help please help me I-I need to go to the hospital, I'm b-bleeding."

He chuckled, shook his head and just found the situation arousing. I turned away from him and started to look for the keys again. I couldn't function properly, my body was trembling and my vision was blurry because of my tears.

"Shit, wait here." I turned around to see a shocked face from Skylar. He immediately ran up the stairs, he came down with a duffel bag and a towel. He tugged on my arm and started to head towards the front door.

"Let's go."

Skylar's POV

Whatever's happening right now, all I know is that I'm out of my mind helping this woman's little bastard right now. I freaked out and didn't know what to do, I couldn't just let her walk around my house knowing that her child might be dying.

I drove as fast as I could, the car was filled with silence. I tried to glance at her, she was holding tightly on the duffel bag that was placed on top of her legs. I can notice that she's scared, she's shaking and it seems that she's trying to hold her tears back. She probably knows I would get mad, how can someone so dumb be smart as well?

The hospital I took her to was owned by the company. It was undecided, but before my mom met dad, she was trying to pursue a career on a medical field. Which is why dad bought her a hospital. So that she could still pursue it whenever she wants. When we arrived, I stopped right in front on the ER.

"Stay, don't move just sit there I'll go ask for help."

"But I -."

Before she had the chance to finish her sentence, I walked away. I sprinted to the counter and immediately told them what happened.

I stood outside and waited for the nurses to take out a gurney. After a few minutes, they arrived and I opened her door to pick her up. I slowly placed her in the gurney and followed the nurses as they rolled her away.

I sat down in the waiting room rethinking what I was doing. Why was I being so nice to her after what she's done to me? I just sat there letting my thoughts flow freely while waiting for the news the doctor was going to give.

Jamylin's POV

They took me to a hospital room and did a quick check up and asked numerous questions.

"Hello Mrs. Walker." The doctor greeted me.

"Hi... I-is my baby alright?"

"Yes it is Mrs. Walker, what you experience just now is called spotting. The stress that you're gaining is having a negative affect on the baby. You must ensure that you're also taking care of yourself."

I took a deep breath, I felt so relieved that I couldn't even respond to the doctor till my husband walked in.

"Thanks doc, I will make sure to take care of myself."

She smiled at me and said something to Skylar. He nodded his head and they went outside the room. I was hearing faded voices, that doesn't matter now I told myself. The baby is safe and that's all that matters, I need to be careful. I layed there waiting for anyone to enter the room, but I drifted into a deep slumber.

I woke up in confusion, I was hearing voices that started to become louder as I fully woke up. I kept my eyes closed when I noticed that it was Skylar's voice. He was on the phone, with another girl. I could the tone of her voice fighting with the sound of the hospital's air conditioner.

"Baby, I promise I'll make it up to you tonight. Something just came up and I immediately had to take care of it."

"Yes, I know, I will, I love you too."

I frozed. I didn't know what to do say or anything. After a couple minutes, I decided to break out of my little act. I looked at him and he just glared at me.

"You've already caused me too much trouble, everything you need is in the duffel bag leave whenever you want. Your phone is here too call a driver I have a meeting to attend."

He slammed the door after stating what he needed to state. I sat there expressionless. I started getting dressed and walked right up to the counter asking for the bill.

"Mrs. Walker, the bill has already been paid by your husband."

I thanked the person behind the counter and called myself a driver. It was a long quiet ride home, I don't know if it's an effect of me being pregnant, but I felt pretty emotional hearing Skylar talk to another woman in that manner. I decided to put my feelings aside and worry about my baby instead. When we started get close to the destination, I searched the duffel bag for house keys. It wasn't there, I knew I was screwed.

I thanked the driver as he continued to drive away, I sat down in the front steps of the house knowing that he wasn't going to arrive any minute now.

Within 5 minutes, Skylar miraculously arrived. I wondered to myself did he really handle his business? He stared at me as I stood up with the duffel bag on my right hand.

"You're early, how did the meeting go?"

"Why would you care? It's none of your business anyway."

He was the one who cheated and he's the one who's angry? This man is literally something out of this world.

I headed to the laundry room to load the clothes in the duffel bag, I also decided to get the hamper up stairs so that I wouldn't have to do it next time.

I carefully started to head down the stairs when Skylar grabbed the hamper from me with brute force.

"You really are stupid aren't you? You just got out of the hospital, you wanna go back again?"

I really had no idea what he was trying to prove. I didn't notice doing anything wrong but bringing down the laundry. I followed him downstairs when it came across my mind that pregnant women cannot carry heavy loads. So he did care after all, he thinks it's not his child but he still seems to care. I married a very odd man.
