I was told that purple,
was the color of royalty.
A color not often found in nature.
So the day you gave me purple flowers
On a rainy day, I felt as if I was special.
Special and unique like the flowers.
But I guess the the flowers were purple,
Because the blue stood for my sadness,
And the hint of red stood for your love,
When you mix them together,
You get the purple flowers you sent me,
On a rainy day...
