This marks my return to speculative fiction. I have often found myself slowly drifting towards grim epics with earth ending circumstances whenever I do anything fanciful. My main goal here is to not fall into that trap. Not that there's anything wrong with serious and dark epics, but I'm trying to write lighthearted, easy reads and those just aren't the same. Anyway, it may start a little dark because Del is a bit gloomy, but that won't last long!
