Jungkook ran in the rain as his damp hair bounced up and down rapidly. He worked for four hours in the old local diner, "The Whalien 52". It wasn't really the prettiest diner-nor was it the most functional or most approved diner by the health department of state either.

But it had its own charm. At least that's what his boss said.

He scurried past the street lamps, seeing the yellow blurs of light whip past him like a bullet train. Jungkook hadn't intended to leave work so late but; being an exceptionally good employee at a rundown diner hanging by a thread left him with more hours and more people relying on him.

It was annoying of course, having a boss and employees act like newborn babies who can't do anything for themselves. And it also was especially stressful, getting yelled at for every little thing being done incorrectly due to everyone having high expectations for the golden 19 year old boy.

But Jungkook didn't care, because Namjoon always blurted out this quote every time he would have deep conversations with him that seemed weird, but somewhat encouraging as well,

"Pressure and stress makes you feel dumb. But getting the money is all worth it and fun."

Jungkook grinned to himself, thinking of his goofy rhyming hyung as he bumped against a brick wall. He shook his head and rubbed it in pain before stepping back to view what had hit him,

"Oh, I'm here already?" He blankly inquired, blinking a couple times looking like a damp confused bunny. He stared up at the apartment complex as he scurried in, slowly gathering his thoughts. Jungkook tilted his head down a bit respectfully at the receptionist before sticking his hands into his pockets, rummaging for the keys he desired to unlock the door.

Once his keys have been found, he entered the room, '14' where him and his roommate lived. Jungkook entered the exceptionally large room as he softly smiled at the warmness, "Im home!" He sweetly called out as he paused for a moment expectantly before frowning.

"No response." Jungkook sighed, "As always."

Now, one would question. Who is the silent unresponsive roommate of his?
Well here's the thing.

He didn't know either.
