Title: Popular Song by Seventeen

•••

"Bring this to table 7. Their asses have been complaining the whole time" Jin groaned, flipping over a sizzling patty which glistened with overwhelmingly too much oil on the grill.

Yum.

"Hyung. They've been complaining for a whole hour wondering where their appetizers are." Jungkook retorted, grabbing the stale breadsticks which laid in the basket neatly. At least it was presented well.

"Also, after a whole hour we're giving them dry old breadsticks that's seemingly Impossible to bite on." He scoffed, plopping the breadsticks back down onto the counter in protest. Seokjin rolled his eyes and lifted the patty up onto his spatula before gloriously placing it gently on, well,

An also equally as dry and stale hamburger bun.

"Jungkookie, you don't know business. It takes another whole hour to even finish one breadstick! Before they can even take one whole bite, their whole order will be done! Bada bing bada boom, business." Seokjin seriously explained, waving his spatula passionately while dramatically furrowing his eyebrows. Jungkook scoffed and leaned over the counter tiredly as he wiped the sweat across his forehead.

"Goodness. Just finish up the food and let these poor people eat Hyung. I cannot stress this enough. The literal Seoul official food committee already gave this place a zero and a half stars. I DIDN'T EVEN KNOW THAT WAS A THING AT ALL." Jungkook exclaimed, his hands curling into fist. Seokjin stilled and stayed quiet for a solid minute.

Nothing but uneasiness wavered around in the kitchen as Seokjin stood there, his spatula in hand and frozen into his position,

"Just... Just give them the breadsticks, jungkook-ah." He silently breathed out, his gaze focused onto the grill which he sloppily flipped patties on mournfully. Jungkook froze, looking at the suddenly solemn expression on the elders face as he hesitantly grabbed the breadsticks and cautiously stepped out of the kitchen,

Yikes. That wasn't pretty.

"Breadsticks for table number 7!" He yelled, his voice still relaxed but louder than before. Jungkook scanned the room, shaking his head a bit to remove his fringe from covering his range of sight until he saw a family sitting in a table in the corner with their hands up. Nothing but displeasure clouded their low eyes as they waved their hands repeatedly, probably attempting to signal that they were the desired table to receive the holy stale breadsticks. Remarkable.

Jungkooks eyes widened as he bowed from a distance and quickly shuffled forward elegantly through the crowd and to the unhappy family that was probably ready to sue the whole entire restaurant by now.

"Y-your appetizer everyone." He stuttered,  placing the breadsticks on the table and laughing sheepishly. The woman looked down at the breadsticks and looked up to side glance her husband.

Yikes. Talk about shady.

She looked back up at Jungkook with stern eyes and pushed the breadsticks forward in rejection of the poor quality appatizer.
