I showed Robert and Laura the end of the tunnel. We started walking towards it. "Hey what about the bone?" Laura called after us. "It doesn't matter too much. I mean really, it's just a bone" Robert replied. He handed the yarn to me saying "You do not know how annoying it gets holding this thing" Then ran off. Laura glared at him accusingly, looked at me then said "We should really stay together." I laughed then looked at Laura sheepishly and handed her the yarn. I ran after Robert. He heard my footsteps and stopped then looked back at me waiting. "C'mon I won't wait forever!" He said with annoyance. I finally caught up to him, so we started jogging in sync towards the opening. I heard Laura's calls in the background, but my excitement drowned it out. I started smelling something foul. "Ew, it smells like something died in here!" Robert said to me. "You're right, it does" I confirmed him. I looked back and saw Laura running towards us. "What are you doing?!" Robert exclaimed. "I didn't want to be left out." Laura said sounding very guilty. While Robert and Laura were arguing about forgetting the yarn I started going into the opening. "Oh my gosh! I exclaimed. I heard Laura and Robert running. "What is it?" They said in sync. Both of their voices sounding very worried.
We stood in the middle of a cave filled with skeletons and randomly scattered bones. I looked at the bones very closely. No scratch or scuff marks. It could not have been some monster the humans or something like that. It looks like the skin just rotted off. I looked at Laura and saw that she had realized the same thing. "We need to get out of here!" She said. "Whatever happened to them could happen to us just as easily!" I looked over at Laura. Her eyebrows were furrowed and I saw her eyes brimming with tears. She was looking around frantically. She was terrified. "It's okay Laura." Robert reassured her. "We'll get out of here as soon as possible." He put his arm around her passionately and started walking towards the place we came in. Laura suddenly screamed and fell to the ground. "Laura!" Robert yelled. I ran over to his side. Laura was thrashing uncontrollably then went still. "Is she dead?" Robert asked sounding very worried. I looked at him and said "I don't know." She suddenly raised her chest toward the sky. She whimpered as she exhaled and something gray floated out of her her mouth. Then her body went limp. Robert looked at me horrified and started to walk out of the cave. "What are you doing?" I asked him accusingly. He looked at me confused. "What do you mean, Laura said we should get out of here." He said. "We have to save her!" I told him. "Well how do you suggest we do that?" He questioned me while sounding very annoyed. "Did you see that gray thing that came out of her mouth?" I asked him. "Well, we should probably follow that so we can save her!" I grabbed his hand and led him towards the place I saw the thing go.
