Chapter 2: Another Battle

"Ash!" Iris shouted as she turned around, beaming at the V-Com. "I-" She was interrupted by May, "Ash! Long time no-" Who was interrupted by Misty, "I haven't seen you in-" Who was interrupted by Dawn. "Ash!" Ash sweatdropped. "Hey guys! I wanted to see you guys and tell you that I'm going to be a guest star on your guys reality show!" Dawn rolled her eyes, "Have food, will travel." Ash started drooling, "They have the best puff pastries and-" Misty stopped him, "Well it's nice to see you again! We'd better be going, see you soon Ash!" She winked at the screen and went out the door. "Oh well, see you when we land Ash!" May waved as she went through the door. "Bye Ash!" Dawn said as she blew a kiss at the V-Com. Iris felt a little jealous, but wiped it off. *Dawn's my best friend! I shouldn't be so-* "Iris? Earth to Iris!" She came back to the room and realized everyone was probably at the first dead end by now. She turned to the V-Com and said to the voice moniter, "I can't wait to see you again!" She put her hand on the screen. Ash smiled, "We'll see each other soon! As Dawn says no need to worry!" Iris thought it was ironic since she was just thinking of Dawn. She smiled, and to Ash's surprise, said softly, "Bye Ash." Ash had a surprised look but then wiped it off and softly said, "Bye Iris." She gracefully left the room and after 1 dead end and a left in a fork in the path, she found the others.

Dawn had elbows linked with Iris. "So? Tell us everything!" Iris was confused, "What do you mean?" May took this question, "You had to stay back in the PC room for a reason. Feel a little-" May snapped her fingers and a little flame came and gone, "Hot Iris?" Iris laughed, "No, in fact I'm a bit chilly. And I know what your thinking, and the straight up answer is no." Dawn and May both looked at Iris with their "Really?" eyes. Iris spead up so the couldn't interrogate her anymore. Misty was looking down as they walk. *Iris is my best friend! Besides, her and Ash barely get along...right? And I've known him longer.* Eventually, they made it back to the main room where Clian was watching Togipi sleep, Piplup and Axew play, and Torchick eat. The girls sat in their seats for about 1 minute when they all sat up and smiled. They took out their maps, and decided to go to the battle room.

It was a long trek, again, but they made it. "Okay! Me and Iris vs Misty and Dawn!" "Sound good!" "Okay" "Let's go!" The girls put their special necklaces in a color cordinated case, got into place. Cilan closed all windows and shut down security cameras while mumbling, "We could have gotten here faster if they would just listen to me." The field was set and the girls were ready to go! Cilan was the judge, "Okay! Rules! Use only powers and strength and first team to collapse wins! And of course when they do, I will use your special necklaces to revive you! Ready, Set, Begin!"

(If you don't care for the battle skip this paragraph) Iris was first to make her move. She made a lightning bolt stick and threw it straight at Dawn. In fear, Dawn put her hands up to block her face, when she opened her eyes, her ice had raised with her hands and barley stopes the bolt from reaching her face. Iris shivered, "Gah! Ice!" Misty stomped her feet and created a huge wave that was headed for May and Iris. They rod on the wave with Iris' lightning bolt board. Then hopped off when the wave diminished. May made a huge fireball over her head and threw it at Dawn, who ducked and dogged the fireball. "Why am I the target?!" Dawn shouted playfully, she made a ice barrier around the opposite girls, and Misty propelled water into it. Iris started freaking out, "I HATE ICE!!" "Don't worry Iris!" May brunt a hole in the ice and the water went through, leaving May and Iris inside. On the other side Dawn and Misty were waiting for them to attack, when lightning bolts and fireballs came raining from above. There were so many, Misty was hit by 4 lighting bolts, and 3 fireballs, while Dawn was hit by 0 lightning bolts and 1 fireball, due to her ice she summoned over herself. May did the math in her head, "Misty needs 3 more hits, and Dawn needs about 6." Iris nodded then summoned her lightning bow and arrow. Misty and Dawn uh ohed in union. They made a pool with a ice barrier around it. Misty realized her mistake, but before she could get our of the water, Iris' shot a lighting bolt perfectly into their little pool, shocking Dawn and Misty. "Misty 1, Dawn 3. I got Misty." Iris said. May nodded and leaped in front of Dawn. Dawn blew and cold air came out, it froze in the air, making a long stick. May sweat dropped, snapped her fingers, melted the stick and snapped again to make the flame go away. Dawn sweat dropped and drew plans on the dirt with her finger. May sat down and took a nap. On the other side of the court, it was very intense. Misty kept launching blobs of water to Iris and Iris kept dodging then. Finally Iris was tired of dodging and stomped her foot. Misty knew what was going to happen next, she braced herself. A thundershock came from above and knocked her out. "Point Iris!" Iris said, "Now for the other one." Iris walked over to Dawn and May, rubbed her hands together and shocked Dawn for 3 seconds, which knocked her out too. May and Iris high hived. Cilan anounced the winners. "And the winners are Iris and May!" He then brought them back their necklaces, and revived Dawn and Misty. "We'll win next time! No need to worry!" Misty sweatdropped, "You might need to worry Miss Target." The girls laughed.

After the battle, the girls got some lunch in the cafeteria. Then went back to the main room to check on their Pokemon. Dawn screamed, "THEIR NOT HERE!!" May calmed her down, "Their probably just lost on the plane." Iris fainted at the thought of trying to navigate through the plane...AGAIN. Misty came up with a plan, "Okay this is the plan, Iris, keep going left. May, 1 left then keep going straight. Dawn, 1 right then keep going straight. And I'll stay on the left side. Rea-" When Misty looked, they were all going the ways she told them to. "At least they listened," she thought as she sighed. She went her designated way too. The search was on!
