Legolas and Tauriel: What shouldn't of happened

The Healing

When they got back to the kingdom tauriel followed legolas to his room. when she walked in the room she walked straight to the corner of the room. she sat in the corner and hugged her knees. 

legolas looked at her and said "you can sleep on the bed". tauriel looked up at him and said " Im fine on the ground. I like better down here. You sleep in your bed." legolas looked at her and thought how could some do that to her. He can see the pain in her eyes. he can see her body in pain, he can see the bruises on her body. legolas offered her a blanket but she said that she doesn't want one, that she is fine. But he knew tauriel very well and he knew that she was not fine.

That night tauriel tries to sleep but she couldn't. she kept thinking that he was going to come back for her. but she thought about what legolas had told her, that he would protect her. she pondered over the thought almost all of the night when legalos woke up and looked at her. he saw still awake and said "would like me to keep watch over you so you can sleep." she smiled with a giggle and said " legolas that is not necessary. I will go to sleep right now and you go to sleep as well. goodnight. " 

legolas looked at her pain inside her head going over what has happened over and over, again and again in her head. when she finally fell asleep, he watched her even though she said not to. She was mumbling "please no please stop,please." then a tear fell from his face. he quickly wiped it away to sound of turtle gasping for air. 

legolas went to tauriel and asked if she was okay. she said she was alright, and said that she needed to be alone and walked out crying. she went to her room and started to righting on a piece of paper. she continued to right down her feelings.

when she finished righting her feelings she through them in the trash. well less did she know that the next day was trash day. thats when elvers come and take your trash away. when they came they saw all the paper in the trash and read it, and decided to give it to the king. the next thing she knew she summoned to see the king and through on a cloak. she went in the kings throne room and saw the king and legolas. 

she glared at him and said "my lord how may I serve you". he looked at her said you must tell me what happened. she looked at legolas as a tear fell from her face. she looked away and said she doesn't want to talk about it. then the king said "I read all your feelings on those pieces of paper. tell me what happened." tauriel looked at the kings face as if really cared for her and he looked sad to read what she wrote on those pieces of paper.

the king said " I only want to hep you" she looked at him with a face and said " you want to help me. I don't need help I need to get out here and go some where with any one around. I wish I was dead." the king walked down to comfort her and give her a hug. she then cries out in pain. " he said what hurts." she did' t look at him and said "nothing Im fine." then legolas said " no you are not fine." he ran over and pulled off the cloak she was wearing. The king was stunned to see the blood and the bruises on her skin. tauriel started to cry. the king then said "legolas can we have a minute".
