out into the unknown

hey so tonight i can upload an extra one or two chapters and thanks angie for all of your help! enjoy! btw this starts back at the night before.

Liz POV

i wake to the sound of an earsplitting scream. at first i think it's just the tv. then i hear patty yelling at father to stop. he must be prepared to make this her last beating. im only 13 but i think like an assassin. i find our kitty blair racing in to tell me what's going on. "blair human form now!" as i instruct her when she transforms into her human form i transform into pistol form. we race out of the room to see daddy dead, and a half dead patty being beaten to death. naturally blair raises me and yells at him "STOP IT YOU'LL KILL HER!" father just smirks and beats her even harder. blair aims and fires at his leg. he manages to stay up and raises the beer bottle to bring down onto patty's head just as it is brought down blair fires at his abdomen. he lets out a cry of pain and still manages to bring the bottle down on patty's shoulder. as he falls to the floor i turn to human and race to patty. she's so bloody and beaten. i instruct blair to stay with a knife in case he gets up so i can clean patty up before we run. while the water runs i race around the house. i grab bandages, cloth, towels, medicine, a pair of sweatpants, a t-shirt, a hoodie, and a pair of boots. i let blair pack a bag of her stuff since he wont be getting up ever again. i clean patty up and dry her off. then i dress her. then i pack. we obviously cant stay here. i only get the necessities. food, money, clothes, soap, drink, extra health supplies, and daddy's cards. he would want us to use them. since patty is only ten she is easy to carry. blair rolls the suitcase and we head off.
