1. beginning
Pairing: Poe/Finn
Character: Finn
The first time Finn sneezed around Poe was when they got back to the base after one particular battle. Finn was changing into pajamas and felt a sudden strong tickle in his nose. It was building for a bit and during that time, Poe hugged him from behind.
"Hey..." Poe whispered into Finn's ear, grinning, "I'm so ready to climb into bed with you."
Finn shook his head, as if he was trying to shake off the tickle. "Gotta... heh..."
Poe rested his head on Finn's shoulder, digging his nose into Finn's neck.
"Gotta-heh-heh-heh..." Finn gasped out, his breath hitching and hitching. He didn't want to sneeze near Poe, especially not when Poe's face was so close to his. So he had to warn him.
Finn felt Poe smile against his skin. He had to let Poe know before he sneezed everywhere. Poe was so oblivious...
"Gotta sn..." Finn gasped, failing to finish the word but trying again. "Gotta sn-sn-sneeze."
Finally. He had warned Poe. Poe would surely throw himself off with disgust and prevent Finn from getting snot all over him.
He didn't budge. He didn't even say anything.
By then, Finn had to sneeze so bad he just had to let them out. "Heh-gtttchhh! Htcchhh! Ah-hitsch-ah!" He half stifled the first one, but the sneezes came with so much ferocity that it was near-impossible to continue stifling. "Hgnsh! Hgnsh! Hetchooo!" There. The tickle was finally gone. Poor Poe. He hadn't listened and now Finn had sneezed in his ear.
Poe didn't seem to mind. In fact, he moaned next to Finn's ear, and Finn could feel another grin spreading across Poe's lips. "Bless you, Finny," he cooed.
"Um, thanks," Finn said, his face heating up. That wasn't at all how he expected Poe to react. Well, he'd take that over disgust any day.
