When Dean got to school the next day, he barely knew what he was feeling. Dread, maybe. And determination. Cas was lost, but Dean was going to help him, even if he had to go through hell to do it. He had to.
"Hey, where have you been? I texted you a few times, you didn't answer," Charlie said, bouncing up to him in the hall. That was when Dean identified another emotion. Guilt. If Charlie knew what he had done... she would never forgive him.
"I... I've been really busy," Dean said.
"Oh. Well Kevin is throwing a party this weekend if you want to come," Charlie said.
"Maybe," Dean said. Charlie gave him a look.
"Look, Dean, I know I haven't known you for very long, but I don't have to to know that you've been acting weird recently. You know you can trust me, right? With anything," she said.
"I know. I'm lucky to have you, Charlie," Dean said.
"You're damn right you are," Charlie said. Dean laughed.
"You are one of a kind," he said.
"Yeah, yeah, enough with the flattery. Let's go to class," Charlie said.

Dean was walking out of school with Charlie that afternoon when he got a text from Cas.
Meet me in the bathroom ;) Dean stared at it for a second.
"Hey, I have to go. See you tomorrow," he said to Charlie. Charlie nodded and they went their separate ways. When Dean walked into the bathroom, Cas was there, smiling.
"Cas," Dean said. "Are you..." Cas nodded and took a step forward, pulling Dean close and kissing his neck. Dean knew that what he was doing was wrong, but, like a young housewife in a soap opera, he couldn't deny how good it felt.

When Dean got home, Sam was already there, draped across an armchair, watching TV.
"Hey Dean," he said.
"Hey Sammy," Dean replied distractedly.
"Are you okay?" Sam asked, sitting up. "You seem a little out of it."
"I'm fine," Dean said, heading for his room. He wasn't sure Sam believed him, but he wasn't sure it was Sam he was trying to convince.
