Poetry is love.
It expresses the deepest of emotions.
Without saying a single word, and yet, even with a single word.
Poetry can say a million things at once.
It shows gratitude, a thankful attitude.
It is not crude or rude.
Poetry is versatile and can fit any mood.
Be it a story, a letter, a song, or anything.
Poetry is everything, and everything is poetry.
With the power to create, I use this poetic power of mine to shed light.
Not spread hate, I open up paths for people to take.
Instead of shutting the doors, or closing the gates.
Poetry is power, my words are like a thousand arrows of justice.
When I shoot them, they shower, raining down upon you.
Or they comfort you, my poetic powers do many things.
Nowadays, I sit think, what can I do next with such powerful words that flow well in sync.
I use this power to encourage and help.
I protect those who can't protect themselves, I hope these words I'm speaking.
Will one day be spotted on the shelves.
Across the world in many stores.
But my main goal is to reach the core.
The core of all humans both good and bad.
In a world we live in, it's kind of sad.
It's flipped upside down, and in chains we're all bound.
But breaking those chains, my new power is found.
Now take all of this, and hear the sounds, hear the voice of love.
Let these words sprout wings for you, like that of a dove.
I find joy in helping others with poetry, instead of being like most and glower.
Been through alot but I don't complain, I suck it up and instead use happiness and poetry.
