I was so frustrated at myself that I was not able to help claire. I just watch her as she lays down on her hospital bed, not knowing if she would ever wake up. I keep asking myself "am i this useless? Claire is dying and i can't do anything about it. Is this her destiny?". I was crying because I felt helpless, then suddenly the nurse called me she said that claire woke up and was looking for me. I rushed to her room and then I saw her. She was weak, but finally she regain conciousness. I cried to her but she just smiled at me. She was too weak to speak,so she just held my hand. The whole time I was crying to her and she just listens. She wipe my tear and said "I'm sorry". What happen next is the most painful memory in my life. Her grip in my hand weakened. She took her final breath. "No! don't you dare leave me claire. I need you I still need you" but it's too late. She passed away just like that. She could not bear it anymore, I was devastated. Desperately praying for her to come back. Then the Doctors rushed in trying to revive her. I was thrown out of the room because of all the commotion. My mind suddenly went black, I can't think straight anymore. Suddenly It became so quiet despite of all the commotion, the lights flickered then an old man in a suit with a cane emerge from the dark. "I see you lost someone special to you, If you want I can bring her back just go on with a deal with me". The old man said. Confused I responded to him "Who are you? And what are you talking about?" He then looked at me and said "I have been called many names over the years, but you can call me Mephistopheles" the devil himself was standing in front of me. I was so desperate in that moment that I said to him "Could you really bring her back?" "Just sign this deal and I can bring her back" he replied. And so I had the deal with the fallen Angel, Despite not knowing what the terms of the Deals I willingly signed it. I was desperate to have her back.
