I was woken by a hand on my shoulder and light shrugging
"___ wake up! It's 8 am! ", I heard a female voice say
My vision starts to get clearer and I see Lizzies hand on my shoulder
" jeez___ you're a heavy sleeper" I saw Jem next to me
"well I don't sleep much" I reply in a drowsy manner
Jem and Lizzie open the door to let the sunlight in and the blazing light making me close my eyes as the sudden brightness was irritating
As my eyesight undimmed, the sunlight looked much better and appealing
Jem and Lizzie crawled out of the tent and I followed. Joel was already outside lying on the grass and admiring the new day
I and Jem stared at Lizzie shooting her that look which tried to say that 'we know your secret' 😏
Dan and Stampy were still asleep. Oh how peaceful they looked. Dan looked really cute sleeping. I couldn't help but 'aaaaawwwww' in response.
He got up, stretched his arms and opened his eyes and rubbed them following an adorable yawn
"morning sleepyhead" I mock him. He ruffled his hair and sunk back into his pillow shifting closer to Stampy. I just giggled and walked back to Jem, Lizzie and Joel who were chatting

It was almost 10 am. We decided to eat some fruits as a light breakfast before setting out. I kept some fruits and energy bars with me just in case I feel hungry
Stampy and Joel had a map so they were leading the way.
"so this tree you see here is an Alder or-" "Alnus Glutinosa" Lizzie cut him off "How'd you know that?" Joel was a bit shocked "C'mon that's like the most common tree" Lizzie tried to show off Joel smirked at her,"then which tree is this?" "That's Birch or Betula Pendula" Lizzie replied with a smug look "very cool. I'm impressed" Joel said, eyes widened
I was happy that they were getting along well. So was Jem. Dan and Stampy were confused.
"Are they-, never mind" Stampy said with an abashed voice
"well Lizzie does" Jem just blurted out not realizing that she shouldn't have.
Dan and Stampys' jaws dropped,"Lizzie actually does?!" Dan asked still shocked."I think they'd look cute together." Stampy mentioned
"I think so too" I said, glancing at the two, arguing about trees and plants
"ummm...you guys? I think we should start moving." Jem interrupted Lizzie and Joel.
We all started moving when Dan called me,"Hey!___ can you click a pic of me?" he was standing at the end of a slope leading a small stream
" ya sure" I replied approaching him. When I was going towards him, my foot hit a rock. I tripped. I was about to fall but instead I landed on Dans chest. I looked into his blue eyes for a moment
"Don't worry. I got ya." Dan smiled at me.
We realized that the others didn't stop for us so I quickly took a picture of him and started to jog upwards

I kept running until I felt a stab of pain pierce my foot. I fell down. I looked down at my right foot and it was bleeding.
Dan came running from behind me,"Oh my God ____! Are you okay?!"
"ya...it just-it just hurts. OOWW! " I tried to hold in my tears because I lied that I was okay
"you don't look okay. I think I have some first aid." he quickly shuffled through his bag.
He wiped all the blood and applied some antiseptic before applying some medicine and putting some bandage.
"I guess that'll do" he said with a caring voice. He took my hand and helped me get up. I put my hand around his shoulder and he put his hand on my waist. He started to walk and I tried to limp with one foot.
We walked like that for some time. We kept going along the straight path until we reached in the middle of trees and three separate paths
"oh no..."
