It's been three months since Y/N and I started dating. Unfortunately, she's been in a coma. In the fight with her parents, her dad started beating the shit out of her. I finally got the cops there and they arrested the psychos.
But the damage was so excessive that she slipped into a coma. I laid on the couch across from her bed and my eyes felt droopy. I thought I had just blinked but soon I was fast asleep.
....
Grunting woke me up. "Muh" a strange sound echoed in my ear and I darted my gaze to Y/N. There she was. My beautiful angel was awake and staring at me. I rushed over and gave her water then called for a nurse.
After about an hour of physical evaluation the nurse smiled at Y/N "Well your vitals are fantastic and nothing seems to be wrong. Are you feeling okay?" Y/N smiled and locked eyes with me, "I couldn't feel any better." "That's great to hear Miss L/N. A social worker will be in tomorrow to discuss housing for you. In the meantime just take it easy, and let me know if you need anything." and with that the nurse left the room. Now it was just the two of us and I couldn't be happier.
"Come here babe. I'm not gonna bite...hard." Y/N couldn't help but laugh as she pulled me into the bed with her. "Don't ever do that to me again Y/N." Y/N looked so confused "Do what?" "Get hurt that badly. I couldn't bare the thought of ever losing you." I pulled her close, thinking about all the nights I spent crying and clutching her hand, I started crying. I was terrified that she wouldn't ever wake up. "Mel, thank you for staying with me." Y/N whispered as she wiped my tears away and kissed me. I laid my head on hers. "I'll always be here for you. No matter what happens. I love you Y/N." "I love you too."
We spent the rest of the night watching tv and talking. I honestly never wanted morning to come.
