The Two Mishaps of a Guard (Kouen x Guard!Reader)

          It was a day like any other...........

"(Name) that's the wrong form!"

"Sit up (Name)!"
"Do it again!"
Yep! Just like any other day!
          You let out a long sigh and closed your eyes. Work was sooooooooo hard! I mean you did sign up for this AND promised to protect your country but this much work was ridiculous! The people training you would constantly nag and nag even for the most slightest things, and then make a big deal out of it. A
           Sadly you can't complain. Why? Cause of two reasons. Reason one, this is the only job you could get since their were so many maids in the palace. And two if you complained you'd either get A. Kicked out or B. Die or get injured. Yay! Aren't the Kou Empire people SO nice?! (-_-)
           Yeah you heard me right. KOU FREAKING EMPIRE! As if they weren't strong enough!  You let out another sigh and sat down on the grass. Training was now over and they said they'd train tomorrow.
            AT 5 AM!!!!!! You laid down in the grass and closed your eyes. Your mind wondered around for about ten or so minutes before making the decision that you were going to quit tomorrow morning before training. I mean there's no point in having this job that risks your life, can get you killed, and nothing really exciting happens, when you can work at a stand in the town. Besides the army here was strong enough.
            Suddenly there was a shadow over you. Your brows scrunched at the coldness. You grumble.
   "Can you, oh I don't know, move?!"
This may have seemed harsh (cause it was) but your body was really sore and you were just not in the mood today.
"Excuse me but just WHO do you think your talking to?!"
Your eyes shot open and you jumped up. You knew exactly who that voice belonged to. You kept your eyes to the ground and slowly looked up only to see HIM. Kouen Ren.
'Welp! I'm officially screwed >•<' '
      "U-ummmmm.....hehe...."
       "I hope you have a very good reason to be speaking to me in such tone?"
 

     Your palms started to get sweaty as you thought of a reply. You nervously looked to the side as you hear Kouen sigh.
"You're the guard, (Name) right?"
You stiffened but nodded. Never have you been recognized as a guard and especially by someone so high and mighty.
      He suddenly chuckled.
"Well I've never gotten this kind of reaction before especially by a guard."
That's when it hit you like a boulder. You didn't bow. (*slow claps* wow! 10/10! 100% Fantastic! -_-)
'*Mental facepalm* SERIOUSLY (NAME)?! THATS SO DISRESPECTFUL!'
      At this point you were a nervous wreck! First you're rude to him and then you don't show respect! What the heck?!
    "I expect something to make up for you're two mishaps."
At that your head snapped up to look at him. He held a smirk on his face. When BLAM! His lips crashed into yours. It was short but it was sweet. (NOIIIIII JUDARS IS SWEETER!!)
       He pulled away and started walking away as if nothing had happened, before turning around and stating-
"Don't think this is over you still owe me one more later...."
You just stood there frozen in place. After awhile you smiled to yourself and started to make your way towards your house.
       'Maybe being a guard wasn't THAT bad I mean something exciting may come out of all this....'
