Phil woke up quickly, almost jumping out of his bed, he raked his hands through his hair. The sweat left on his hands, "another nightmare" he muttered, though no emotion shown. Phil hadn't shown much emotion at all since.. the incident. He was left drained and alone, nobody to talk to. He barely had enough energy to get out of bed despite it being weeks. He did it anyway, struggling out of his comfort zone every day just for him.

Phil got out of bed and threw on some clothes, whether they were clean or not didn't bother him. He didn't bother going into his kitchen and just walked straight out the door.

Every step, every breath, every heartbeat just reminded Phil of him. Seeing him just fall, seeing him splash, realising he couldn't do a thing to prevent it just truly destroyed Phil.

Every night he would close his eyes, and unintentionally replay the moment. It killed him to do so but it's the moments he'd have by himself just crying his eyes out that slowly brought him out of his grief.

Phil had reached the bridge, he found a spot that looked near where he jumped, he placed his hands on the railings and sighed. Feeling the tears well in his eyes, Phil had no intention of jumping but he just wanted to spend a few moments just looking into the black abyss of the water.

Phil couldn't hold the tears back, he let them fall freely down his cheeks, wishing a certain boy would wipe them away. But he was gone, long gone. Phil closed his eyes and fell into memories. Memories of him, them talking, when they first met. The laughter, the tears. Every blessed moment Phil spent with him, god it was heaven for him.

If only it didn't have to stop.

Phil let out a choked sob, he bid farewell to the bridge and started walking, he knew where he was going without even considering it.

He eventually reached it, Phil's personal hell but many others rest place. People could say that grave yards were creepy, haunted and just negative places. Although Phil despised it, it held Dans soul and that's what made Phil keep coming back.

Phil stumbled his way to the grave, he held a single rose that he found on the way. He kept hold of it, nervous to place it by Dan. It felt wrong, he should of done it when Dan was alive.

However Phil still needed to accept that Dan was truly gone. And he was never coming back

Phil sighed and let his tears drop onto the rose, onto the petals and made it look perfect. He then dropped it next to the gravestone, he looked at the stone but couldn't for too long.

He whispered the the wind, "goodbye Dan.." and swore he felt the wind whisper back, he turned around and started to walk away. Finally saying goodbye to Dan and moving on to a whole new chapter.

*few years later lol*

Phil opened the door to his apartment, when he was in he heard rushed footsteps. His wife, Sadie, rushed into the room and gave Phil a big hug. "Welcome home Phil" and she grinned, her eyes shining brown. Phil had met Sadie at a coffee shop when they had to share a table. She was a very lovely person and had light brown eyes and hair. Phil had always thought she looked a little like Dan.

"Thanks Sade" he said smiling and kissed her cheek. When they had met, Sadie let Phil vent to her about his life and she was very understanding. She could relate to his grief since her brother had killed himself six months before, she also understood that Dan was his true love. But Phil did love Sadie, they were lovely people and also lovely parents.

"O-oh I'll go get our DEAR son" and she ran out the room, still so energetic, Phil thought, smiling to himself. Sadie quickly returned with a small toddler on her hip. The small boy could barely talk but it was still clear that Phil was the favourite.

"Goodness I don't know why I'm here, he always goes after you" Sadie said shaking her head smiling fondly. Phil laughed lightly and reached out for his son, the toddler practically jumped into his arms and struggled to talk. "D-d" and Sadie started jumping excitedly.

[ D-DANGER MEN AT WORK"

lol I'm kidding

"D-Dan bottoms"

lol I'm kidding again ]

"D-dan" the toddler stumbled over his first words, Sadie shrieked a little too loudly and Phil gave his son a big hug, "well done Dan! You said your name!" Phil felt a small bit of sadness stir but he pushed it away, he couldn't let his grief get to him, it had been six years since 2009, six years since Dan.

Phil hugged Dan tightly, almost scared to let go. "I love you Dan.." he said softly, Sadie put a hand on Phils shoulder and offered him a smile. Phil smiled back and involved her in the hug. Phil was part of a new family but he still couldn't help wishing Dan was here.

And God, he still loved Dan with all his heart.
