"Okay? Guys we'll be right back." I say following Mario. "Okay what's up?" I ask still following him.

"You know I love you right?" He asks starting to walk down the sidewalk.

"Ya what's wrong?" I ask.

"And if we date that will affect everyone. Not just you and me, but my fans, Weston, Blake, the groupchat."

"Where's this going Mario."

"Blake likes you, and I don't wanna get in the way of that. Your gonna get hate because of me. Because of Blake. Blake's not gonna do this so I'm gonna. Willow I think we should stay friends."

I stop in my tracks, so does Mario. "What if I don't want Blake?"

"Then you wait."

"For what?"

"Whatever you want." He smiles a little.

I roll my eyes. "Okay." I then bite my cheek.

He smiles again. He's a good friend. He embraces me in a warm hug.

"Thanks best friend." He smiles leaving the hug.

I put on a fake smile. Friend-zoned. Damn I just got friend-zoned by Mario Selman. That really hurts. I feel embarrassed.

We walk back to the pool and no one is swimming anymore. Probably because the sun went down and the temperature dropped. I grab my phone scrolling through my notifs.
