Chapter 2

        I walked to school without my glasses on( no I don't need them and I will tell you why I wear them in a little bit) and since it is a twenty-minute walk, I just talked with my wolf, Athena.

Why do you let him push you around? You know, I could show him his place.

I know you could, but he still doesn't know that I have shifted, nobody does.

I know, but if we kill him then nobody would still know.

If we kill him the pack will get suspicious and you know they already didn't like me, even if we didn't do it, they would find a way to blame me.

Yeah, Yeah, Whatever. Anyway, your birthday is today.

Yeah, so what.?

 You are going to find your mate today

Please don't remind me, I have been preparing myself for when he rejects us and besides I could find him after my birthday.

He might not reject us.

Don't feel sad Athena, we have had this coming for a long time.

With that Athena sank back into my mind and I had finally arrived at school with aching feet. I should of taken my motorcycle, but I coud not risk changing my nerd reputation. It isnt like I want to be a nerd, Its more that I have too. I need everyone to belive that I am weak so I dont draw any attention.

I walked into school and went straight to my locker but since the universe hates me, I was met with the three most evil things on this planet and their names were Abby, Ashley, and Addison. People call them the three A's, in my head I call them the three asses.

"Hello nerd, give me your math homework" Abby(the leader) commanded me. Since I was supposed to be scared, I did as she asked and didn't say a word. 

This happens every day so I quickly learned to just make a duplicate of all my assignments. She then turned around and left with her high heels clacking against the marble floors. Her followers walked in a formation behind her. I returned my attention to my locker and pulled out all the books I needed into my arms. I walked slouched to my first-period class, English. I hated English and my teacher hated me, perhaps if I had a better teacher, I would like this class more. With gloom in my eyes, I walked into class and took my seat in the back of the room. People started to file into their seats and class started and ended as normal. After class is when things started to get a little weird.

I was walking out of class and had reached my locker, I put my stuff away and turned around because I had smelled the most amazing scent I had ever smelled. I turned around to see my worst nightmare. I saw my mate. The guy standing in front of me was the rudest person I had ever known, it was Alpha Aiden. When he saw who I was, I was his face turn grim probably because I was the nerd of the school, but I didn't care because I had prepared myself for this moment.

"Everyone listen up!" Aiden yelled to everyone in the hallway.

He then turned to look at me and said the words I dreaded, but was ready for,                                     "I Alpha Aiden Beckett reject Aphrodite Reed as my mate and Luna." He smirked at me believing that I would be sad, that I would cry in front of everyone, that I would embarrass myself.

"So, do you expect me to cry over my broken heart cause I won't, in fact," I looked at everyone in the hallway and then back at Aiden and said the words he never thought I would," I Aphrodite Reed completely accept Alpha Aiden Beckett's rejection."I could see the shock in everyone's faces especially in Aidens. "Oh and one more thing, I am leaving so good luck finding another Luna." 

I then walked out of the school with my head held high. I thought about going back home but then realized that I had nothing left to get, so I just walked and kept walking until I was far enough away, then I shifted Into my wolf. I don't know when I fell alseep, but when I woke up, I was greeted by two wolves.

They were standing in front of me, probably mad that I had crossed over into their land. They growled as a sign for me to stand up(I was in my human form). As I stood up they began to shift back.

"Why are you here? "the blonde one said

"Because I was rejected and abused" I replied sternly.

"We should take her to Alpha Liam." The other one said to the blonde one.

We started walking through the forest when I realized they didn't even know my name. "I am Aphrodite by the way." Neither of them said anything. I tried a couple more times but, nothing happened so I decided to leave them alone. Not long after, we reached a large house, I guessed that it was the pack house. We got inside and I felt the warmth hit me, but my enjoyed moment was interrupted by the two boys pulling me into a room. The room had double doors and a large desk at which a guy about my age sat. 

"I am Alpha Liam, who are you?" He asked

"Aphrodite Reed, daughter of Beta in silver moon pack," I replied firmly. "Where am I?"

He replied grimly with " The blood moon pack"

"Great, of all the packs I ran into, I ran into the weakest of them all."

"Watch how you describe my pack." he replied wit fire in his eyes.

"Or what, I could probably take you down in a fight."

"Fine, if you can beat me in a fight, then you may stay and become our trainer, but if you lose we can kill you."

" Challenge accepted."
