I woke up to the sun shining in my eyes and hearing Carl waking up above me. I get up and grab some clothes, and turned around to get dressed in another room. I went to the bathroom brushed my teeth, an got dressed in Jean shorts the end slightly above mid thigh and a peach colored flowy tank top.
I walked back to the cell to see carl standing in the middle of the cell wearing his boxers and no shirt.
"Oh, wow, uh oh my god I'm so sorry. I'll just, uh come back." I stuttered as I turned around and ran to Beth's cell.
"Hey Beth. Can ya braid my hair?" I asked
"Sure katie. Come hither." She said as I sat down in front of her. She french braided my hair and it took about 15 minutes.
"Thank ya Beth." I said smiling.
"No problem." She said goin back to writing.
I bet carls done getting dressed so I walk to our cell. Carls putting on his waist belt/thigh belt thing when I walked in.
"Hey. Sorry bout before. I'm not really used to a visitor in my cell yet." He said blushing.
"No no no. I should of knocked. Sorry." I said
"You never have to knock to get into your own cell." He said your own with extra emphasize.
"Okay." I said starting to smile.
"Hey kiddos y'all wanna take watch?" Daryl said
"Sure. Lemme just get my crossbow." I said grabbing my bow and walking out with Carl.
We were on watch for an hour and me and Carl talked the whole time. About what we liked. About our lives before this. Everything actually felt normal.
"Hey carl. I'm gonna go talk to Maggie." I said
"Okiedokey." He said
I walked to Maggie and Glenn's cell and saw it was only Maggie and Beth inside.
"Hey girlys!" I said while jumping on the bed next to them.
"Hey katie!" They said in unison.
"So Maggie. What's happening with you and Glenn?" I say winking and see Beth laughing so hard.
"Oh Glenn. We are dating." She said smiling.
"AWW YALL ARE SO CUTE. I can tell he makes ya happy." I said.
"He does." Maggie said.
"So Katie. Do you like Carl?" Maggie said.
"Yeah. It's obvious that he like you." Beth added.
"Well. Maybe. I think. Well. Yess. I do." I said looking at the floor.
"AWW!" They said at the same time.
"I'm going to bed now." I said blushing as I walked to me and carls cell.
