Chapter 7

"Mr.Blake?!" I said surprised

"Katie? Hm. Didn't think you'd be alive. Emily told me she left you." He said.

Philip was Emily's stepfather.

"Wait. Do you know where Emily is?!" I said

"I need you to answer some questions for me." He said smirking and ignoring my question.

"You're going to tell me everything you know about the prison. Or else. And I want every detail." He said.

"I haven't been there that long. I don't know that much about it." I said truthfully.

I guess he didn't believe me because he punched me in my face and man did it hurt.

"I said I want the truth. I know you've gotten close to that kid. And your family lives there.

So you tell me everything or else I might try getting it out of the blonde one." He said evilly.

"You son of a bitch!" I yelled spitting in his face.

"Hmm. Now I see why Emily left you. And why the rest of your family didn't look for you." He said punching me over and over and over again.

Eventually my face turned numb and I didn't feel his punches. Then I lost consciousness.

CARLS POV

I was sitting me and Katie's cell. Just staring at the blank boring wall. I haven't eaten much since she left. No one even tried to look for her.

As I'm staring at the cell wall I hear a loud boom.

I run outside and see Daryl handing out guns to everyone so I go stand behind the fence with him.

I see the governor roll in on the top of his tank. He jumps down from the tank and talks to my dad, i can't tell what their saying though.

Next thing I know he took Hershel, Michonne, and Katie out of the trunk. Michonne looks fine, Hershel looks fine, but Katie is all bruised and bloody. I wince. It hurts seeing her like this.

I see the governor pullout Michonnes Katana and put it against Hershel's head and cuts his neck a little bit and I heard Maggie and Beth start crying.

"Liar" he said while pulling the Katana back and cutting Hershel's head off.

"NOOO!" I heard Beth and Maggie bawling their eyes out while shooting at all the governors men.

I saw Katie rip off the rope that was around her hands and run to Hershel.

KATIES POV

I heard the governor say "Liar" and I already knew what happened so I kept looking straight. People started shooting at each other so I used that time to run over to my dad but what I saw was his body sliced into pieces. I dropped to the floor and cried so hard.

No! I need to be strong for him. I got up and grabbed a knife and ran towards the governor. I took the knives and stabbed him in the leg. He turned around and stabbed my leg.

"OW!" I cried out. Just as he was about to kill me I saw him get tackled down by Rick.

I ran to some dead person and grabbed their gun because the governor was obviously winning the fight. Just as I was about to shoot him I saw a long Katana blade go through his chest.

I ran over to Rick and hugged him.

"Thanks for saving me." I said

"Come on kiddo. We gotta go." He said limping.

I put my arm around his back and he put his arm around me shoulders.

And we walked around looking for Carl.

"CARLL!" We yelled in unison as two walkers came towards us and I realized neither of us have guns. Just as the walkers were about to get us a bullet went through each of their heads.

I looked at who it was.

"CARL!" I screamed as I ran to him and hugged him.

"Oh my god what happened to you!" He said obviously seeing the stab wound in my leg and my overly beat up face matching Ricks.

"We need to go" Rick said.

I saw Judith's baby carrier so I ran to it but only saw blood.

I started crying and Rick was crying and carl was shooting a walker repeatedly

As we were walking away from the prison I heard Rick.

"Don't look back." He said.
