*Kacey's POV*

Today is the day we leave and I'm very upset about it. I've had so much fun here, they are my new family and I don't want to leave anytime soon. It's about 6am and we have booked a taxi to take us to the airport at 7am.

I put the last of my things back into my suitcase and dragged it through to the back door, ready to grab when we are leaving.

"Hey" Niall greeted as he came into the living room where I was sitting, reading my new book. Dear John by Nicholas Sparks.

I love his books, they're honestly amazing! (A/N THEY ACCTUALLY ARE. IM READING THAT BOOK RIGHT NOW BC HE IS MY FAVE AUTHOR. CHECK THEM OUT!)

"Hey" I smiled, replying, "What you got here?" I asked, pointing to what he was putting with all out luggage.

"Just my guitar" He replied

I furrowed my eyebrows, "I never knew you took it with you" I said in confusion

"I take it everywhere" He laughed, "Want me to teach you?"

My face lit up, "Really?!" I squealed

"Sure" He laughed as he walked over to the case and brought the guitar to the couch. He sat next to me and put the guitar on his lap, tuning it.

He put the guitar pick in between his teeth as he strummed a few notes with his fingers.

It sounded perfect!

He nodded in approval as he handed me the guitar. I placed it gently on my lap as he handed me the pick and showed me how to play.

He showed me a few keys first and when I got the hang of it, I was able to play one tune. It sounded a bit sketchy but I'm sure with more practice, I'd be pretty good!

"Thanks Niall" I smiled, hugging him.

He hugged back as he chuckled and mumbled a welcome into my shoulder.

Maura soon came into the room and told us the taxi was here.

I looked at the clock and realised she was right, it was 7am. Wow, time flies.

We both walked up to Maura and gave her a hug, saying out farewells.

"I'll visit soon mum" Niall said as he left his mother with tears in her eyes. It must be hard for her, having a child live so far away.

"Goodbye Maura" I waved as we got into the taxi.

And then, once again, my family was gone.
