Next thing I saw when I opened my eyes was a bright light in my face. I smelled chlorine and bleach and heard an annoying beeping sound. I looked around and noticed were I was.

Hospital.

What the hell happened though? Last thing I remember was going on the bus. Soon a doctor came in with my parents. My mom looked up and saw I was awake and rushed over and hugged me like she never hugged me in years. My father stood behind patting her back.

"Can someone explain the to me what happened?" I asked confused as ever. Finally the doctor spoke up.

"You had a grand mal seizure." He started. "It says on your medical records you had them before and you were taking medication?" He asked. I threw my hands through my hair, mad at myself.

"Yeah I stopped taking them after awhile." I said closing my eyes regretting what I said and hating how it was true.

Both of my parents looked at me like I had two heads, shocked. I might've told them a couple times I was still taking the medicine.

"Well I strongly recommend that you still have make them. We'll get you a new prescription and by tomorrow morning you can leave." And with that he was out.

"Hoeny!....I was so worried, why did you stop taking the medicine?" My mom started with care in her voice.

"Well....I thought I was ok not to take in anymore." I said. Lying. I didn't take it because people always bullied me about it at my old school back in North Carolina. I knew I shouldn't take what they said seriously but, it was hard.

"Well your going to take the medicine now, it's unhealthy for you to be like this." My dad said. I nodded. My parents looked at each other whispering something.

"What is something wrong?" I said curious. "Julie.....this week your father and I were thinking of going on a short vacation until Sunday with you....but...."

I must've looked surprised because my mother stopped and didn't know what else to say.

"Well, don't let me stop you. You guys can go I can handle myself at home. Alone." I said and smiled to reassure them.

"But...we don't want to leave you home alone, so we set up with Zachs parents for you to stay over with them while we're gone."

Silence entered the room as I looked at them wide eyed at what they just said.

"No, no, no, no, I can't do that! Can I stay at Kyle's house?!" I screamed. My parents jumped at my sudden uproar.

"Well does he know about you heath?"

"No. No one does!" I protested back.

"Well it's settled, your staying at Zachs." My mom said smiling at me trying to calm me.

I groaned before my parents kissed my forehead and left me with an I love you.

What a wonderful start to the week.
