CHAPTER 25- WILDEST DREAM (FIRST DATE)

The cool Caribbean breeze blows through my hair and the golden rays warm my skin. The voices of people conversing pierce one of my eardrums, while the sound of a battle rings in the other.

I sit in the lobby, watching anime on my phone. I know people my age will be like I'm too old for that but I don't mind. I'm young at heart. Anime to some is childish but to me it's a way to escape reality and enjoy the adventures of magical or powerful people who could take over the world if they wanted to but instead fight to protect it.

I may be grown but I still see the fun in anime. I've been hooked on it since age 15, Bleach is my first anime then Dragon Ballzkai and then Hellsing.

Being in Jamaica frees me up a bit, I've done most of the work relating to the orphanage and now I'm relaxing for once in my life.

The room is comfortable and I wouldn't mind relaxing in there but I'm trying to avoid some topics with a certain person so I come to the lobby to relax instead. Plus Lexi is asleep and I didn't want to wake her.

I sit in a single chair near a window, one ear bud in my ear listening to the battle.

"Are you really watching anime?" A voice asks from behind me.

I look around to see Johnattan, he's in a white T-shirt and blue jeans. He has a brow raised as he looks at me.

I mentally roll my eyes, another grown person that doesn't get why I watch anime.

"Yes, yes I am," I state. "It's a way to escape reality like reading but this is more graphic. Now excuse me I'll like to go back to watching it. Thank you."

I turn and continue watching my episode when the phone is pulled out of my hand.

I spin around glaring at him.

It was about to reach the good part.

"Give me back my phone," I state.

He smiles and shakes his head. I slowly rise from my chair holding him in a deadly glare. He steps back with an amuse look on his face.

"Johnattan for the last time give me my phone."

"No," as soon as those words are out I charge at him.

He holds up his hand that has my phone and grins at me. He being a little taller than me makes it hard for me to catch my phone. I jump up trying to get it but it's useless.

He laughs at me and I glare. On instinct my foot goes up hitting his leg hard. He groans and bends holding his leg. I grab the phone and is about to walk away when he grabs my waist and throws me over his shoulder.

"Put me down!" I find myself saying with fits of laughter.

"We're going on a trip Christi and I feel like carrying you like this," he sings in tune of the little Einstein's theme song.
