All The Lies

Chapter Seventeen

Skyler's Pov

Right now Kale and I are in car driving to save Lily. Lily has been so much help and Blaine has helped even more. He somehow got Lily's phone and texted us the address where they are staying.

I look at Kale and I sigh lightly. I've missed him so much and here he is, right in front of me, sleeping like a baby. I think back to the night I left him. Why was I so scared of his mom? Kale could've protected me from her.'

Kale wakes up and rubs his eyes. I turn away blushing, he caught me staring at him.

"Skyler may I get a straight answer from you?" Kale asks sitting up.

I turn and I look at him, "Maybe..."

Kale smiles lightly, "Why did you leave me so suddenly? I know you said its not my fault but I can't help but feel like its my fault."

I shake my head, "I don't think you want to hear the answer to that question Kale."

His smile fades away, "But I do!"

I sigh, "Fine. Your mom took me in the hallway after you chewed her out, she slammed me up against the wall, and told me that if I didn't leave she would kill me."

Kale's face goes pale, "Why didn't you tell me?"

 I sigh, "I couldn't risk Lily's life. I had to think of her before us."

Kale goes to say something but the taxi driver stops the car. What a beautiful house. I climb out of the car and almost instantly I smell Lily and Chris.

I take of in a bolt towards the smell. Kale and me reach the backyard where Chris is beating up Lily. Blaine runs over and tries pushing Chris off of Lily but Chris shoves Blaine hard so he falls to the ground smacking his head on a rock. 

Lily gets angry and wait shifts? The collar on her neck is beeping and she seems to be in pain but she runs at Chris and latching her mouth around his neck. 

She clamps down hard and pulls back. She spits Chris's neck tube on the ground and she watches as he falls to the ground lifeless. Blood spatters on Lily's fur.

Kale and me turn to each other.

Lily quickly shifts back and runs over to Blaine. He sits up and rubs his head.

"LILY!" I scream running over.

She totally forgets about Blaine and she runs over hugging me, "Mom! Oh how I've missed you!"

She pulls me back, "Are you okay!? I saw what Chris was doing to you!"

I shrug, "Yeah. I mean other then the fact I'm now a wolf as you probably saw moments ago."

Kale walks over to Blaine and he grips onto him tightly. Tiny and a bunch of other people make there ways out of the house. Tiny quickly walks over and hugs Kale which basically cracks all of Kale's bones.

Kale walks over, takes his shirt off, and he hands it to Lily. She quickly puts it on.

Lily sighs, "Does anyone have any keys to get this collar off of my neck?"

Blaine stands up and he reaches into Chris's pocket. He pulls a key out and he tosses it to Lily. She catches it and she unlocks the collar. There is two giant burn marks on her neck. 

It falls to the ground with a thud. Everyone watches her quietly. No one says anything until a guy with pink hair speaks up, "You killed our Alpha."

She turns around and looks at the group of people, "Okay? Do I care? Nope."

Blaine laughs quietly, "Skyler, your daughter is amazing."

I look at Kale and I smile, "I know."

He pulls me close to him and he kisses my forehead.

The guy gets down on his knee, "Thank you Lily. We are forever in your debt. Chris was insane and killed our old pack leader, I miss him every day."

Lily pretends to bow, "Well if I'm ever in Ireland again I guess I hit you up."

The guy with pink hair stands up and smiles at her. Everyone else bows and thanks Lily. She turns to Kale and me, "I want to go home."
