My Dear Girl Chapter 3: Discovery

I was out with Yui one day and someone seemed to be following us. Yui didn't seem to notice but I did. We were on top of our school when I noticed him. Tall with short,black hair, piercing green eyes, and a face I'd never forget. When we went to the tallest building in town, we liked the view, he walked up and pulled a knife on me. He said for me to give him anything worth any money I had with the knife to my throat. I said "I have nothing on my person right now." He replied " What about that necklace? That looks expensive. " How did he notice? I had it hidden under my shirt. I looked over to Yui and she started to shake her head no. So I told him " This necklace isn't worth anything to you or anyone but me." He smiled "That's where you're wrong." He replied. He grabbed for the necklace and Yui quickly pushed him off me. He looked furious. After he looked at her for alittle bit he slapped her. My temper flared up right then. I grabbed his throat so fast that it knocked the wind outta him. Grasping for breath he said "What the hell are you?" I dropped him and he went to his knees. He quickly got up and made a stab at me with the knife. He missed but I nearly fell off the roof. He knew what I was, he knew I was enhanced beyond humanity's power. I knew what he was too, just the same but instead of having a physical shown augment he had an inborn one. I told him "You want anything from me you'll have to kill me." He took this as a challange. He said " Maybe you may not give me anything but she will." I looked to Yui as he said that she was shocked at his words. I quickly replied "You touch her and I'll kill you." He took this as a challange. He grabbed her by the arm and said "Try me." and pushed me off the roof. I flipped into a diving position and started saying the words to bring my inner power out. " Fly goddammit!" My necklace started to glow blue once I said this. I slowed to a complete stop in the air. I made my way back up the building and eventually made it back up. I saw him holding Yui, knife to her throat asking for her money. She was looking me in the eye and started talking to me via our mind link. We used it to say personal things to eachother. Mainly to say how to use my powers. She told me to say "I need my blade." I follow along and say it, a purple sword and shield appear on my arm and hand after saying the words. The robber notices this and removes the knife from Yui's neck. He stands there staring at me in awe. He must not know how to use his powers if he was so amazed. I slowly floated forwards and landed on the building. He started walking backwards as I walk forwards. His back to the wall he said "What the hell are you?" I knew what I was then Yui looked wondering what I would say. I saw myself in a previous life with Yui I told her "I will protect you, no matter what the costs." "I'm her guardian angel. My name is Rutzu Ikanzo and I will protect her till the end of time." Yui looked amazed, all her thoughts on what I might say had been false. The robber just stood there in amazement, mouth hanging open. I said " Pawā ga detekuru!" I watched as the robbers eyes grew wide. What Yui said then sounded like she was amazed. "Wait you are my guardian angel?!" I replied to her "Yes,I'll show you later how I know." By the time I looked back to where the robber stood he had ran from the rooftop and had been long gone. I let the power inside me subside before saying anything. Yui was standing there, staring at me with her silver eyes. I walked over and said to her "You know why I am so protective over you and your happiness. Why I said I will keep you happy as long as I live. There's one more thing I must say, you and I are immortal. We can live as long as we wish and die when we want." She gave me a smile "As long as I can have you I'm fine with living forever." I wraped her I a hug and planted a kiss on her cheek. We stood there for a long while, hugging, never wishing to let go. We eventually broke apart and I said to her "Grab my hand." She followed along and took hold of my hand. I took off into flight and she was pulled up with me. I made it less of flight and more a pathway in the sky so she had nothing to fear. She followed me along the path to where I made our destination at. She asked "Where are we going?" I replied "Where it all began." She looked puzzled but quickly realized my meaning. We were going to where I started my path to become her guardian angel. Where I said my words that bound me to her in life and death. She knew why I was taking her there also. To show her what happened previously that I saw that made me realize I'm her guardian angel.
