Her first year

Chapter two : The Train

Hermione was in awe at the sight that was before her, she had Hurd her Godfather, James Potter and her Aunt , Lily Potter talk about the Hogwarts Express before with her parents but she never knew how big it really was . " boo ! " someone said , as they jumped behind Hermione " ah ! Harry James Potter! How dare you ! " Hermione shouted ,disapproval in her voice " c'mon 'Mione, you know it was funny. You want to laugh. I know it. " Harry retorted smirking as he watched Hermione get even angrier " don't you dare. If you do that again, I WILL hex you. " Hermione threatened as broke eye contact with Harry to look back at the scarlet steam engine once again, " excited 'Mione?" Lily Potter asked her niece " very . I can't wait to improve my magic and learn more of it. " Hermione said pulling the sleeves of her blue hoodie down over her hands  " cold , love ?" Remus asked his daughter worriedly as James and Sirius also looked worried " a bit. " Hermione replied as the trains whistle blew " you best be getting on honey. " lily told her son as she pulled him into a hug " alright. Bye mummy ." Harry replied as he hugged his mother back and let go " bye daddy." Harry added and gave his dad a hug and as he did so he looked to Hermione who was hugging Lily " bye kiddo . We'll owl you ." James said then smirked " make sure you cause some mischief for me and your uncle moony and uncle Wormtail, as well as Sirius of course ." He added as Harry let go , Hermione hugged James and Harry moved to Sirius next " bye mummy. Bye daddy, bye dad ." Hermione said grinning although sad at the same time as she gave her parents a group hug " bye honey. Make sure you reply to our owls . And be safe . Don't be afraid to ask for help with things honey. " Nymphadora stated as she kisses Hermione's head " I will mummy." Hermione nodded " cause some mischief, you have the map with you right ? " Sirius asked , Hermione nodded " good. Use it and remember: to open it , what do you say ?" Sirius advised , Hermione smirked and lowers her voice " I solemnly swear that I am up to no good . " Hermione recited and Sirius , James , Remus and Peter Pettigrew nodded " and how do you Close it ?" James asked " mischeif Managed ." Hermione replied her voice lowers again , the four nodded again " and who's who ?" Hermione and Harry's uncle Wormtail ( Peter Pettigrew ) asked " Moony , Wormtail, Padfoot and Prongs ." Hermione replied pointing to each respective member of the Marauders, they finished saying there goodbyes and got on the train , Hermione opens her window of the compartment her and Harry were in and said one last thing to Remus " I'll keep track of the moon , and advocate awareness if I can about werewolves." Hermione said confidently as Remus smiled " that would be wonderful love. Let me know how it goes . See you at Christmas  . Love you. " Remus replied as a tear slid down his cheek , he was definitely going to miss her so much. As well as everyone else .
