Chapter 2- My instincts

Rixtons P.O.V~

 Waking up to the sounds of my pack members waking up for early training makes me proud. Knowing that my pack will respect my orders makes me feel strong and in power. This probably makes no sense to you, Im Rixton Turner, Alpha of the Darkmoon pack in North Carolina. Today im starting my new job as a science teacher at Rinebridge Highschool.

 At the moment im mateless. For an alpha or any other werewolf to come to their full power and strenght they need to find there mate and complete the mating process. 

Being a teacher gives me privaledges that not most other alphas have. I can keep a close eye on the younger pups in my pack that are in the highschool. I make sure that they stay out of trouble and dont accedentally reveal our secret. We've done a pretty good job at keeping the humans from snooping or finding out any information that would give us away. The only humans that do know of us are the hunters and the mates of werewolfs. 

As I listen to the voices passing by my room I cant help but feel this tug in my heart. Also as I start to come out of my thoughts I notice my wolf, Ryder is going insane bouncing around in my head. I push it aside not thinking much of it. I slide out of bed proceeding to get ready for the long day ahead of me.

 After finishing my shower I get out, towel drying my hair not doing much to it. I head to my closet pulling out a dark v-neck, jeans, socks, and boxers slipping it all on. I run a comb through my hair, slip my shoes on and grab my wallet, brief case, and phone.

 I run down the stairs looking at the clock checking the time, seeing its already 4:30. Being a werewolf we dont need much sleep, we have enough energy to last us a week. I wanted to head to work early to get everything ready for today.

 I head to the kitchen to look out the back door and check on all my warrior wolfs to make sure they were working. "im off to work, if anything happens make sure to mind link me right away" I say using my alpha tone. There were a chorus of "yes alpha" and "ok alpha".

Running to the garage I get into my black mustang and head to school. Getting to school is going to take about 30 minutes, seeing as we live in the middle of the forest. It keeps away from the homans so we can shift without worrying if they will see us. It also helps if we nned some where to hide if hunters attack. But i highly doubt they would, they know we'd kick their asses

 30 minutes later I am parking my car and heading to my class. I was here loast week so I new where i was going. I could tell there was no one here, even if the teachers get here early there usually only here an hour before everyone else.

 Unlocking the door to my classroom I walk in and examine everything. The walls are bare and the desks are in rows, the teacher that used to be in this class obviously had no imagination what so ever. Im gonna have to get posters to put on the walls to add some color to the room. 

 I set my briefcase down on my desk thats in the front of the room and right behind it is the whiteboard. Turning towards the board I start writing down the objective for today and my name. As i was writing I hear a faint know and couldnt help help that my heart sped up and myself become aroused instantley. In a husky voice i reply with a simple "come in"

 As soon as the person comes in im hit with the most mouth watering scent of vanilla and lavender. I turn around looking for the person who owns this alearing scent. As i find my answer my breath hitches and my heart picks up speed. I see the most beautiful girl with long auburn hair, soft face and bright green eyes. As her eyes look me up and down I start to smell her arousle grow. I can feel my eyes shifting from blue to black. My wolf is going insane and the only thing i can make out of what he is saying is a loud growl of "MATE", wanting to mark and mate her right now but i push back and block him out. Taking a deep breath i find that my mate is only human, its a good thing that i made him stop before we scared her off.

When her eyes finally land on mine, I know for a fact my eyes are pich balck. I can see the look of fear, want, and self conflict. When she drops her bag and turns to run I know why she was fighting herself. My mate will not stand the idea of our mate running from us. So automatically he goes after her and i dont stop him this time.

 She only got about 6 feet, before i had her pinned against a locker in the hall. The only thing she got to say was "oh shit" before her head lolled back and she was out cold. Crpa she must have hit her head when i got her against the locker. Not knowing what else to do, I picked her up bridal style carring her to my car. I wasnt worried about school right now, only getting my mate safe.

 As i approach my car i open the back door sliding her in and making sure shes ok. I get into the drivers seat and start to drive to the pack house.

 The whole drive to the pack house was quite, Layle stayed asleep the whole time. When i finall pull up to the house I get out and get layla out of the back seat. Approaching the house I can feel that the pack can tell their luna is close through the pack link.

As i open the door most of my pack was already by the door waiting to finally see their luna. My beta Kyle came running to the door. Being the beta he has his own connection with her. He will see her as a mother and will expect love in return for his. 

"Lunas finally here, shes more beautiful than i thought she would be" Kyle said in awe as he examined her. This made my wolf mad, he didnt like other males looking at our mate with such intensity. I let out a dangerous growl "mine". My voice was threatening so I knew i got the point out to almost every male in the pack. "sorry alpha, it wont happen again." I knew it hurt him, but my wolf was being possessive and it didnt matter if he was my beta and best friend at the moment.

"what happened to her?" Nina our pack doctor asked as she approached. " I think she passed out from shock, Im gonna take her to my room so she can rest.""shell need it" I gave her a nod and made my way up the stairs ignoring the stares of my pack as i made my way past them.

As i entered my room I layed her on my bed removing her shoes and slipping her under the blanket. I sat next to her, just admiring the beautiful women the moon godess gave me as a mate.

After about 10 minutes of staring at her i left the room and made my way to my office. I had paperwork to fill out and I needed to think of a way to tell her about the pack and what we are. She has much to learn before she becomes luna.

-Sorry for taking so long. All the chapters that i wrote before were deleted when i tryed to update so its gonna take me a little while to get everthing rewritten
