The Argument

The chapter your seeing now is what happened after Under The Red Hood Part 3 but is somewhat of a filler chapter. But is still of importance for the next under the red hood part. I'm still working on the final part and it will most likely take some time. But i still wanted to keep active with updating. I hope you enjoy it.

No Ones POV

Jason was in the living room walking back in forth in a panicked motion. Debating if he should go out and look for his adoptive son. He only had two years of training more then Jason had gotten when he became the second Robin. But experience was the best teacher to have and Mason only had only three days worth of experience in the field. He thought of all the worst possible scenarios that could have taken place. What if  Mason had ran into one of Gotham's villains and had gotten captured. What if Batman had found him and was interrogating him for information at this very moment. Both scenarios seemed very unlikely to Jason. But as a protective parent who could really blame him. The kid thought,acted, and resembled him in every sense of the word. If Jason didn't know any better he'd say in a unlikely event Mason was his actual son. But Jason never really had a serious relationship with any girl for more then three months. 'But there was that one time with Talia were i .... could she have really been ?' Jason's thoughts were interrupted by the garage door opening  with Mason walking in closing the garage door. 

"Mason you've been gone all night were the hell were you i was worried sick about you."

Jason said walking up to Mason in a worried tone. Mason looked up at the overly concerned man he called his father. 

"Dad calm down you didn't train me for two years extensively for nothing seesh"

Mason said walking past his father to his room. Jason was lost for words at what his son had just said to him. Not once in the two years that Mason and him had been living together had Mason ever acted like this. Sure they had there arguments but Mason hadn't once acted in a rebellious manner like this before. 

"That's not the point son what if something bad had happened to you. What if one of the major villains had captured you or worse killed you." 

Jason said expressing his concern for his son. At this point with all that had happened tonight Mason was at his boiling point.

" I don't know why your so concerned about me its not like your my real dad !!!" Mason yelled out at Jason 

The tension in the air was so thick that it could be cut with a knife. No one had spoke even after three minutes of Jason starring at Mason with a shocked expression slowly spreading across his face.

"I took you in ...fed you,clothed you,and even trained you and this is the thanks i get!!"

Jason screamed out at Mason with every word piercing his heart like a stab wound.

"Dad i didn't..."

Mason tried to say until he was abruptly interrupted by Jason.

"You know what save it i don't want to hear it."

Jason said storming off away from Mason's room to his own. Mason heard the slamming of his father's door. Making Mason flinch from the sound of the door slamming abruptly.

"I'm such a dick !!!"

Mason said diving onto his pillow and screaming into it.
