Chocolate

It was the thirteenth of February and Killian Jones was walking down Main Street when he noticed that all the shops he had passed were decorated in red with banners advertising reduced prices on all things 'Valentine's day.' He went into Grannie's, picked up lunch for himself and Emma and was on his way out the door when Ruby stopped him. "So what are you doing for Emma this Valentine's Day?" She asked. "To be quite honest, I have absolutely no clue what Valentine's Day is." "Please tell me you're joking." Killian looked guilty at the ground. "Oh my gosh you have to do something super special. Basically on Valentine's Day, couples do something really romantic and usually the guy gets stuff for the girl." "What sort of stuff?" "Flowers, cards, jewellery... Chocolate! Girls love chocolate." "Thanks for the help Ruby, I'll just have to start planning for Valentine's Day slightly later than most," and with that, he left the diner, leaving his and Emma's lunch on the counter.

Emma was walking to the docks, hoping to find Killian with their lunch. He normally wasn't late but when he hadn't come home at the time he said he would, she decided to go looking for him. She looked on his ship but he wasn't there. She went back home to check there again but he wasn't there either. She was walking towards Grannie's to see if he had ever even gone there but as she was approaching the diner, she looked across the street and saw Killian entering 'Game of Thorns.' "I wonder what he is doing going in there?" She followed him at a distance and peeked in the glass front of the shop to see Killian buying a bouquet of roses. 'For the most beautiful woman in all the realms.' She read on the label that was being tied to the flowers. With a shock she realised that he was buying them for her and she had just ruined the surprise of Valentine's Day. She saw her pirate about to leave the shop and poofed home plopped on the couch pretending to watch TV, waiting for Killian to come home. He entered the house a few minutes later and she rose from the couch and greeted him with a kiss. "Not that I'm complaining, but what was that for?" He asked. "Can I not kiss my one true love?" "I suppose that is more than enough reason to kiss this devilishly handsome pirate." "Don't forget you're eye smouldering too." "How could I ever forget." "You won't, I will always be there to remind you," said Emma leaning in to kiss him again. This time it was a far deeper kiss that they ended up taking to bed.

Emma woke the next morning to find Killian's side of the bed empty. She pulled on his shirt from last night over her underwear and walked down the stairs. The bouquet of roses from yesterday lay on the kitchen table with a note tied to it, along with the one she had seen tied to it yesterday. 'Just gone to grab us breakfast from Grannie's as I don't trust myself to use the bread toaster. Be back soon. Love you. ~Killian' said the first note. The second read, 'for the most beautiful woman in all the realms.' After reading the notes, Emma sat at the table waiting for Killian to return. She became so lost it in thought that she only snapped out of her trance when strong arms wrapped around her. "Good morning Love, happy Valentine's Day." "Thank you, the roses are beautiful." "Not as beautiful as you," said Killian making Emma blush. She turned in the circle of his arms and kissed him on the lips. When he kissed her back, deepening the kiss, she smiled and, feeling her smile on his lips, he smiled to. The rest of the day passed with Killian giving her lots of gifts, some of which included several boxes of chocolate, he never found the perfect one so he bought them all, a necklace with a crystal swan on it that Emma adored and a matching set of earrings. The day ended with Killian unwrapping Emma to find her wearing a set of red, lacy lingerie. "Someone was rather prepared, weren't they," said Killian with a smirk when he saw her.
