Last period

I've been so anxious all day, now it's the end of last period. All I could think about is Matthew taking me out. Ugh I can only imagine how awkward this is gonna be for the both of us. I still don't get why he went through so much trouble as to kidnap me in a janitors closet just to ask to hang out. I would've said no anyway but In that situation I had to say yes.

Luckily in the class that I was in health we were watching educational videos so my mind can wonder. Then the bell rang. I sighed, hopefully I can avoid Matthew  by leaving to the bus. Until I realized. Shit I forgot my jacket.  It's in my locker, if I run real quick to get it i still have time to get to the bus. I run over to my locker dodging everyone in my path to go over to my locker which is on the other side of the school. As soon as I got my locker I took some time to breathe, I tried opening it and I messed up the combination. I groaned.

"Fucking serious?" I questioned. A tried opening it a second time. SUCCESS!  I quickly grabbed my jacket as soon as I was about to shut my locker someone shut it for me.

"Hey Cryst." The person said. I turned.

"Oh hey Ethan!" I said happily relived that it wasn't Matt.

"Want  me to walk you to the bus?" He offered. 

"We ride the same bus silly." I said and chuckled.

"Yeah I know just wanna walk together?" He asked. I can already feel my checks burning up.  He wants to walk together!?!

I smiled just as we were about to walk away an hand  grabbed my arm from behind pulling me backwards.

"Hey!" I yelled. Ethan turned.

"Actually she has plans." A voice said that I already knew who it was.

"Matt!" I yelled. He put his arm around me.

"Oh Cryst? You didn't tell him didn't you?" He asked.
Ethan looked over at me.

"What? Tell me what?"  Ethan asked.

"Well-" Matt cut me off.

"I'm taking her out today so she doesn't have time for you to take her to the bus." He said and smirked at him. Ethan looked over at me.

"Is this true?" He asked. I rolled my eyes.

"I told him I was gonna give him a chance." I said shrugging.

"You heard her Eth." Matthew said proudly.

"Well you two crazy kids have fun." Ethan said and awkwardly smiled and left. Me and Matt both laughed.

"Hah you sound like me dad bro." Matthew said causing me to laugh. Then I realized something. I gasped.

"What's wrong?" He asked.

"My parents! They'd never let me go hang out on a school day plus hang out with a boy they'd never let me ." I said to him hoping  that he'd give up soon. What  I said was the truth but  seeing this guy he isn't a quitter. Matthew thought about it for a moment. 

"Give me a second." He said taking his phone out of his pocket. He turned his back on me. I can hear him whispering.

"Mom could you please talk to Crystals parents please?" He asked silently.  Awwe  he really did wanna hang out.
