I walked through the parking lot toward my car. When I went to open the drivers seat, someone turned me around forcefully. He pinned me to the car. "Hey Sky. Headin home?" His face was close to mine. I felt my face get hot and nodded. "Ugh...do you mind stepping back a little?" I asked hesitantly.
He laughed and picked me up, bridal style. "We should go for a drive." He started to walk away from my Blazer. 'He's taking me on a date? He didn't even ask...' We reached a black Sierra 1500. It was a really nice truck. He set me down in the passenger seat and ran over to the drivers seat. I noticed the windows were darkly tinted. 'Get out now Skyla. Before he locks the doors...before he drives away...before you get out of walking distance to the car...' I kept adding things as we drove further and further away from the school.
Finally he broke the silence. "You smoke?" I looked at him.
"No."
"Ever try it?"
"No."
"Want to?"
I hesitated. "...No."
He pulled out a cigarette, lit it, and puffed away. When he was done he flicked it out the window and put his hand on my knee. I tried to move it away, but he tightly kept it in place. He slowly moved his hand up my thigh. "So where are you taking me?" I asked and held his wrist from going further up. "My place." I ripped his hand off my leg and pushed myself against the door. "Ugh uh! No way! I just met you yesterday. I am not going to your house. Stop the car." He didn't stop, but he smirked instead. "Ashton stop the car." Still kept going. "I will jump out of the car if you don't stop."
When he didn't stop I grabbed my bag and tugged at the door handle. It didn't budge. "Childs lock? Seriously?" I sighed and sat back in my seat. A minute later, we were pulling into a long driveway. "Who's home?" He smirked and said no one. "I'm not going in there alone with you." He frowned, got out of the car and walked to my door. I tightened my seatbelt and held onto the steering wheel, but he managed to pry me out of the car.
"Jesus I just need help with some homework." He threw me over his shoulder. He opened and unlocked the front door to his house. He locked it shut and closed the door. When he set me down I noticed he had a really nice house. He took my hand and led me up a tall staircase. He brought me into a large bedroom with a drum set, a queen(unmade) bed, and a lot of pictures on the walls. And posters. He sat on the bed and smiled at me. I wondered over to the drum set. "You play?" He rolled his eyes. "No it's just for show."
I rolled my eyes at him and looked at some of the pictures. Most of them consisting of him and three other boys. "Are these you're Auzzi friends?" I asked, and he laughed. He walked over and pulled me to sit on the bed. "They are. So...Shakespeare."
For the next to hours we finished homework and chatted. Eventually we were laying next to each other on his bed. "I wish I knew how to play guitar." I said. He was quiet. I looked over and he looked sad. "Luke played guitar..." I had learned the three boys in the pictures were Luke, Michael, and Calum. I propped my head on my hand and looked at him. "You miss them don't you?" He sighed. "Of coarse I do. They were my best mates." We sat in silence when suddenly he turned to face me and pulled me close to him. My face was buried in his chest. "You smell nice." He mumbled into my neck. His hands moved to the small of my back, but didn't go any lower. "I should take you home." He said. We got up and he took my hand. He led me to his truck, and he drove me home.
When I walked in the door, it was quiet. I walked upstairs to hear my mom crying in her bedroom. I rushed in to see her lying on the bed curled up. I rushed to her side. She sniffled and looked at me.
"You have to go to your fathers house."
My jaw dropped. This couldn't be happening.
