Chapter Six

I laid in my bed and starred at the ceiling. I thought about what had happened in the bathroom at fifth period. We had sat on the floor talking for the rest of the time. About deep stuff, secrets, where we saw ourselves in the future.

"As soon as I graduate I'm going back to Australia." I was still sitting on his lap, leaning on his chest. I felt a pang in my heart when he said this. Was he serious? Would he actually leave? He noticed my face drop. "You should come. It's beautiful there." I smiled slightly.

I closed my eyes. 'Why did I make out with him? Was that a good idea? That was my first kiss and we're not even dating...' My heart was throbbing. I didn't know how I felt toward Ashton. I just met him and I was already having feelings for him. Not like the few crushes I'd had in the past, but feelings like it was real. I decided to ask Jenna about it. She had had plenty of boyfriends the past two years.

"Hello?" She sounded peppy and cheery as usual.

"Hi Jenna. You know that guy Ashton Irwin? Well I think I like him. Well, I do...I think. I don't even know. It's not like a crush, but it is. But I feel like it's real. I kind of made out with him in the bathroom at fifth period today but I don't know why. It just kind of seemed like I was supposed to kiss him so I did but-oh my god I'm sorry. What do I do!?"n

She laughed and sighed. "So Skyla had her first kiss. How was it?" She was avoiding my question by asking another, she did it a lot. "Oh...it was nice I guess. But I don't-" "isn't Ashton that senior punk rocky kid? He always gets in trouble? I can't say I've ever thought about you hooking up with him. Go figure huh?" I rolled my eyes. She wan't being very helpful and it was kind of pissing me off. "I have to go. I'll talk to you later." I lied. "But you just-" I hung up on her.

And I was back at square one. I decided to text Ashton.

'Hey -Lala'

'Hey. Want more of me already?;) -Ash'

'Shut up. Xp what's up? -Lala' he didn't respond for awhile. I put in a Panic!At The Disco CD. He texted back in ten minutes.

'I'm gonna take you out tomorrow. On a date. -Ash'

'Is that a question? -Lala'

'No. Wear something...dark. :) what's your address? -Ash'

'8243 Maplewood. And who says I'm not busy tomorrow? -Lala'

'Great. I'll pick you up at 6. See you tomorrow babe. -Ash'

I was confused. 'What just happened? I was just invited-no, told to go on a date. Ok...' I knew there was no getting out of it so I went to pick out an outfit. I decided on a black punisher tank top and jean shorts. I set it out on my bed. I added my black converse to it and called it a day. I finished my homework and went to bed. 'Please let this go well tomorrow.'
