"Nathan... What are you doing?" Nathan jumped as the voice of his boss sounded through the room, her tone was what could only be described as barely veiled frustration. Taking a deep breath, Nathan turned away from the half sculpted stone in front of him. His lips twitching from the effort of keeping them straight and not letting them turn into a grimace. As he came face to face with his small petite red haired boss, all Nathan could think was she was wearing black pumps again to try and make herself look taller.

"... Good Afternoon Angela. Could you try not to be so loud in my work room when I'm working?..." At Nathan's somewhat snarky tone an almost plastic like smile slowly took root on Angela's face, seeing this Nathan couldn't help but shiver, his many years of knowing her warning him of danger. Still smiling Angela's small hand quickly shot out, her fingers tightly latching onto his left earlobe. Forcefully, she tugged him by his ear until his body was low enough for her to be face to face with him.

"Yes, I can see that. What I don't understand is why you are working with white stone when you are supposed to be placing the finishing touches on the metalwork Iron piece which is supposed to be done and packaged for Mr Mclayne by two o'clock today... So please... Explain to me why you are working on something entirely different?" Reaching his right hand up, Nathan carefully removed Angela's hand from his right earlobe. Rubbing some circulation back into it, he pointed over to a large object covered by a tarp in the corner of the room.

"I finished it at one, I was just waiting for you to arrive, since I forgot my phone in my house." Though obviously annoyed Nathan's voice was similar to the taste of honeyed macadamias, smooth with a deep mellow sweetness that lingered after. It was quite relaxing to those who heard it, though there seemed to be no effect on Angela. As she walked over to the covered sculpture, Nathan just turned back to his work, picking up a small brush to sweep away some of the loose stone. Reaching the tarp, Angela pulled it off to see a metalwork lion leaping through waves of splashing water, it almost looked like the lion could see you, its metalwork eyes startling, beady, unmoving and unnerving to those who saw it. A small gasp of appreciation left her small mouth as she gazed at the beautiful artwork.

"Ooooh, this will do just fine Nathan, and just in time to, what with all the works you scrapped to get to this piece we almost missed the deadline." Nathan sighed as he heard the sound of tapping before the sound of a text being sent echoed through the room. The small feeling of happiness that he had felt at Angelina's gasp of appreciation had long since departed to be replaced by the regular hungry void he had been feeling for the last month.

"Alright well Jayson will be over later to pick it up. Also mum said to come over for dinner at some point, she's worried you're not eating enough, though that's ridiculous considering the amount of times I force feed you food each week." Nathan sighed quietly, as he heard his sister walk towards his workshop's exit.

"I'll give you a break for a few days you earned it. I will be over tomorrow though, with some of Mum's veggie pasta, you look like you need some with how pale you have been looking recently." Waving goodbye, Nathan muttered a small response as he felt a sense of relief as the sound of his sister walking down the pebble pathway echoed into his workroom. Nathan adored his little sister, even if they didn't really get along well when they were together. Looking at them you couldn't tell they were siblings. Nathan was a tall lanky man with a mop of curly ashen brown hair on top of his head and startling silver eyes framed by sharp thick lashes which caused his eyes to almost cut into you like a blade at their look, Angelina on the other hand was a short curvy woman with deep red hair that stretched straight down to the middle of her back, combined with her thrilling forest green eyes and flawless white skin, Angelina was an absolute beauty. Now if you looked beyond their looks and instead took a peek at their personalities, then and only then would you find the resemblance. Angelina was snarky and cunning to the point that she even gave her family chills, Nathan appeared to be a calm and pliant man but once you riled him up he could beat his sister in how cunning and snarky he could be. Of course you had to rile him up in the first place, which his family tried to avoid to their best of their ability having been on his bad side enough to know to avoid it. As Nathan slowly slid his hands over the white marble in front of him, he squashed the sudden image of perfect white teeth grasping the stem of a beautiful white rose. Picking up the tools next to him Nathan shushed the thoughts in his mind slowly falling into a trance-like state as he slowly chipped away at the stone in front of him.
