"Assalamu alaikum",I said while entering the room and Taibat replied with"wa alaikumussalam dear,welcome to my hood"...
     We both laughed and I started viewing the room.
      The room was very large with gray walls and a brown king sized bed was fixed at the centre of the room with a bedside lamp on a drawer beside it....
      There was a small reading desk,a small wooden finished chair and a book shelf at one edge of the room.
        Her closet and a mirror was at the other edge of the room,while adjacent to it was a night stand and a set of cushion...
      A beautiful pink colored bed sheet was spread on the bed,with shaped comfortable pillows and a duvet.
      The room was perfectly ok,it was very clean and smelling good as if someone had been living there while she was away..
    "Taibat I never knew u lived in such a mansion,why don't you brag the way others do??,I asked surprisingly...
     "Hmm..Dear!,what's there to brag about?,besides,both the rich and poor are equal in the sight of Allah,So tell me,why should I brag or take myself higher than the way Allah made me equal with the poor",Taibat said...
      "Whosoever exalted himself shall be abased",she added.
      "Wow you've said it all,I'm very proud to have an amazing friend like you..I said
      "Let me tell you more about my family,I know you never knew I lost my dad",she said as she adjusted her sitting position on the cushions we were sitted on..
      "Ya Salam!,I never knew my dear,sorry for the loss but why did you keep such sad event away from me",I asked with a little depression on my face..
     "I never wanted you to look at me as an orphan when I have my beloved mum and brother beside me",
       "My dad died when I was at the age of 2,he suffered from a short illness before he gave up the ghost",she added with tears in her eyes...
      "Thanks to Allah my mum was a nurse then,she catered for both Faisal and I,she sponsored our education and most especially that of Faisal since he was older",
        "She gave us all the love we needed,everything we've wanted with what she earned",
     "Our uncles tried so much to take us away from her but she refused,they were putting pressure on her and so she had to take the matter to the court and at the end she won",Taibat said...
     "Mummy faced many hardship because of this people and at the end she had to seek for transfer from Lagos to Kano,we resided at Bompai road before until Faisal got a job at CBN",
     "He built this house just to make us feel comfortable and thank Allah for all he has done for us,Alhamdulillah for having a brother like Faisal,my dad,my brother, my friend,my everything",She said while she wiped away her tears and later smiled...
     "And Alhamdulillah for having a friend and a sister like you,thank you for being by my side Ramla"..
      "Am sorry for making you remember your past,may Allah grant dad Aljannatul-firdaus,ameen"I said while tapping her at the back..
       "if Allah wills,I'll never leave you alone Taibat,you have become part of me,I take you as a sister and not a friend,please stop that tears,it breaks _moi_ heart",I said while holding her hands and smiling....
       She smiled back and hugged me,"thank you Ramla",Taibat said."thank you too buddy"I replied and hugged her back...
     She stood up and went to the bathroom and came out few minutes later...
     "Baby your bathing water is set,go in and freshen up",she said while giving me a wink..
     "Abeg,don't baby me,only my prince charming will call me that,oh I just...."
     "Please...please don't start that prince charming lecture of yours,get up before I punch you"she said while clinching her fist in a playful manner...
     "Here you go",Taibat said as she handed me a beautiful new pink towel from her closet..."I will go downstairs,and come back in a jiffy",she said while leaving the room.
     I stood up and undressed, then tied the towel and headed for the bathroom...
      "Woah!,another world of fantasy!!..don't wanna say much, cox it will take me a day to describe the bathroom to you"............
