Hey there ! Can we just take a moment and appreciate how utterly handsome Ignis is ? Like stop being so darn cute

"So let me get this straight , you want to give me cooking lessons ?" You asked as you placed your hands on your hips and stared at Ignis . "Yes , that is correct , well if you don't mind of course "  Ignis would never admit it but .. you made him shy , you were the reason he always had butterfly's in his stomach whenever he was around you , and you were also the reason why he wanted to give you cooking lessons , to somehow create a "bigger"bond . Which in this case a bond that was more of a relationship  -winks-

" Alright master Iggy , teach me your ways into people's stomachs " You rubbed your hands together and giggled , he handed you your f/c apron
"To begin this recipe we will need , f/f  ( favorite fruit )  refrigerated sugar cookies , softened cream cheese , cup of sugar , teaspoon of vanilla , aaaand kiwi slices " Ignis read the recipe over , just to make sure he read everything correctly " Sounds pretty easy , so what shall we do first ? " You looked at all the ingredients on the table 'this should be fairly easy right ? I mean what could possibly go wrong ?' ( Ooooh if only you knew that things went wrong , really fast ) 

-short little time skip- ☺️

"Uuuuh Ignis , is the Oven supposed to smoke like that ?" You asked worry evident in your voice . Ignis looked towards you and then the oven , his eyes going wide " Oh Eos , what could have gone wrong ?!" He frantically grabbed a towel and started fanning the oven smoke . You looked towards Ignis for a sign on what to do but that was interrupted by a roar of fire , you quickly ran behind Ignis "Uhhh Ignis I think we did something wrong " You clung to the back of shirt . "Not trying to be rude or anything but I think that's pretty obvious y/n " Although this was a scary situation , he still managed to make a joke ( a little OOC ?) you scratched the back of your neck In embarrassment "Hehehe , sorry " you turned your attention back to the black smoking stove , 'hmmm I wonder ...' "Ignis , do we by any chance have a fire extinguisher ? "  

Ignis's eyes widened in realization , how could he not have thought about that sooner ?  ( he was too distracted by your cute facial expressions as you tried to focus on making the food ;) )
"Yes we do ! I believe it is located in the shelf a-above the stove ...." He trailed off as he mentally kicked himself for putting it in such a high place . You looked up , well one thing was for sure . That darn shelf was waaaaay to high for you to reach " Oh Eos , why did I have to be so damn short ?"  You looked at Ignis and the stove 'welp , time to save specs '

You grabbed onto the stool that was behind you and placed it a few inches away from the stove ' I swear to god if this thing breaks , Ignis owns me breakfast in bed every morning for a whole 3 weeks ' You hoisted yourself up on the stool and tried to reach the fire extinguisher "Ignis , could you have put this thing any higher ! " You snapped "Its not my fault the majority of this group is tall ! Either way how was I supposed to know this was going to occur " He pinched his nose to restrain from breathing in the toxins and kept fanning away the black smoke 'Come on , just a little higher'

You finally managed to get the fire extinguisher, but since your always so so lucky . The darn thing slipped from your grasp . ' are you fucken kidding me ?!'  You jumped off the stool and tried to grab it but it bounced off the stove handle ( ?) and that resulted in you grabbing the very hot metal handle " Ohhh shit " you hissed as you started fanning your hand trying to get the stinging to leave " Y/N ! Are you alright !?" Ignis said looking at you from the corner of his eye . " Yea I'm fine just a stinging burnt hand , no biggie " You lied trying to not get him to worry but he knew you too well .

You finally managed to grab the fire extinguisher and put out the smoke and fire , Ignis had turned on fans in order to get rid of the excess smoke  . You were currently plopped on the floor , the smell of burnt food reached your nostrils " Hey iggy " Ignis looked towards you " Yes y/n?" You raised up your burnt hand , in a matter of seconds Ignis was already at your side with a med kit " I'm so so sorry for putting that thing so high up , I should've known you wouldn't be able to reach it " He quickly apologized 'what the heck is he apologizing for ?' You grabbed onto his hand with your own unburnt one and squeezed it " Iggy this wasn't your fault or mine , we both didn't know this would happen " you gave him a reassuring smile that made his heart skip a beat . Oh how he loved that smile of yours , it made him happy knowing he could get you to smile , especially in a situation like this .

He nodded in understanding , suddenly he started blushing . "um y/n ? " you looked up to see a pink cheeked Ignis , you quirked an eyebrow " Yes Ignis ?" It seemed that he was pondering about something , finally making up his mind . He grabbed the back of your head gently and planted his lips onto yours , You hesitated on kissing him back of course because you thought this was a dream but it wasn't . So you took this one in a million opportunity and kissed him back with as much passion as him .

After the passionate kiss , you grinned "Ignis?" He turned his red face towards yours "hmm?" He hummed , gently smiling " I'm glad we both almost burnt down the house or else this would have never happened " As soon as you heard him chuckle you knew , that you fell in love with him even more after that day .
