JFK Airport| New York, NYOnika:
I sat by the window as my private jet skidded onto the runway. It was colder in New York for May. I bundled my mink fur as the pilot safely landed and let down the jet steps.
I stepped down, a little groggy from the long flight. Shades over my eyes. My matte black, fully tinted Mercedes Maybach sat adjacent to the jet.
I looked over at Grizz, my photographer who was walking over to the other car with his luggage.
"Grizz, I want a pic on the roof. The barbz are gonna love this." I ushered him over. I threw my coat in the backseat before Grizz helped me climb on to the top of my very expensive Maybach.
I struck a quick pose as Grizz pulled his camera out snapping away.
"Thank you grizzzzz." I politely nodded as I climbed down and slid into the backseat. He closed my door and I settled comfortably in my seat.
I placed my pink beats over my ears and pulled my phone out to FaceTime Robyn.
After a few rings she answered buried beneath my Versace duvet.
"Mmm." She grumbled refusing to show her face.
"Wake up sleepyhead. I wanna see your beautiful face." I pouted my bottom lip removing my shades.
"Ain't shit beautiful over here ri'now Nika." She chuckled, her sleepy voice cracking. I loved her sleepy voice, it added to that sexy raspiness she already had.
I giggled. "Well let me see ya busted ass face then."
She pulled the covers from over her head and revealed a very beautiful sight indeed. She underestimated her beauty.
"You look beautiful. Are you fucking kidding me? Between you and Bey I can't." I shook my head as we began to make our way through the city.
Always reminded me of how far I'd come. From the bottom up. I loved coming back home to New York.
"Tell my other girlfriend I said wassup." She winked, licking her tongue out.
I pointed my finger at the camera. "Don't play wit' me."
She quirked a sly smile "Don' be so sensitive." She sucked her teeth.
