Memory

     It seemed like yesterday that Cato was alive. Cato was a short man. He had brown scruffy hair a brown coat. He also had a family, his mother that died when he was 16 and his father, drafted into war and had yet to return. Cato also had two younger siblings Cathina and Barbaris. Cathina was a little over 9 and Barbaris was 13. Cathina was cute and adorable, but couldn't be trusted by no one. She had a reputation for stealing from other towns folk. She always wore soft silver dresses that she had stolen from the shop keepers. She had blue eyes that shined like a diamond.Barbaris was a very intelligent young man. He would always be hanging out by the temples and having his face in a book. He had brown hair like Cato and had green hair. The princess stopped thinking and looked up and laid down, closed her eyes, in an instant, the sky was like a painting with all the colors blending together, she was with Cato along the palace walls. He looked straight in her deep blue eyes as,  if they were the only two people in the universe. Everyone knew that their love was unbreakable, as if they were bonded with the same heart. But it was not to last. It was only a memory. The last memory she had when Cato was alive. Tears filled her eyes when she thought of his death, but only she knew what really happened.
