The arena was filling with people coming to watch Cato with his trial. A moment of silence came over with in the crowd, as they watched Cato as he got closer to the wood carved doors. Holding his breath wondering witch door to pick, anxiously about to open the door on the right. Cato stopped and stared blankly, turned around and turned back, with a deep breath Cato opened the door. A sigh of relief ran through him as he saw a stunning woman standing in front of him, Cassai . The people in the crowd stared silently while Cato and Cassai were walking to the middle of the arena. In an instant, everyone started clapping for joy. The Princess was speechless. The King was staring with disgust as he was walking away slowly. The wedding took place then and there, you could here the bells chime as the two walked down the street as people threw flowers on the street. When the long and stressful day was done, Cato and Cassai to a long walk outside the palace walls. The Princess watched them in a deep stare from the window, as they walked happily though the palace gardens that surrounded the outside of the palace. The roses seemed to go into full bloom as the couple walked through the garden.
Days have past since the celebration. While the town was discussing the event, Cassai was summoned to the palace to see the king. No one knew why. One of the guards said to Cassai, " The King has asked for you in his presence." As she was walking through the palace she flat-out stopped, Cassai was face-to-face with the King. The king was a tall and beffy man, even just being near him made you feel unsafe. He was bald and had armor that shined as the sun hit it. Looking in his dull black eyes, she was silent. He had a job for her." Bring Cato to the forest and leave him there I will do the rest." he said it in a strict voice. Money was the reward, but it was to remain between them. Cassai only had a week to do it, and if she failed, her life would be taken.
Cassai had no hesitation about the task, she only lowered her head, bowed and left. Cassai was soundless for some time when she was with Cato, thinking about what the king said to do. She looked at Cato as tears filled her eyes " Cato was guilty," she said to her self . As night fell, she took Cato for a walk in the woods and did what the king told her to do. Then Cassai came back to the house and stared packing with fear. She quickly, but calmly, went to the palace to collect her reward from the King. The King stared at her and told her that she did a good job and what she did was for the best. While the King and Cassai where talking about what happened, they didn't know that the Princess was eavesdropping on the conversation. With surprise, she ran to find out if the conversation was true. Running deeply in the woods, she sees Cato laying lifeless on the cold rocky ground covered with blood. Rocks were stand with blood as she looked at the scene, she was filled with hatred and went to confront Cassai. Although Cassai was quiet, she told the Princess what happened and said that if she didn't do it, her life would be taken. The sorrow could be seen on her face as she regretted what she had done. Cassai stopped in the middle of the conversation, and hesitated to speak anymore. The Princess returned home to find out that her father was going out of the kingdom for a while to attend a meeting with the General. She figured why not then.
Days passed and the King was going to be leaving soon, and the carriage was waiting. The Princess walked out with her father to say goodbye. She closed the carriage door and she waved as she watched him go with a bogus smile on her face. The days went by fast by fast. The Princess reserved a letter but looked at it as if she already knew what it was. A letter stating that her father was dead in an attack and never made it. She was devastated, so people thought. A funeral took place at the palace. People came up to her giving their condolences, but the whole time she was there all she could think was......" no one will ever know my secret and the truth behind it."
