Holly's POV:
My life isn't ordinary. It's not anything you would expect it to be, I'm just
normal. I'm not popular, but I'm not nerdy, I'm not pretty, and I'm not ugly. I'm just your normal 16 year old girl.I'm gonna tell you a little bit about me, my life. I live with my mum and my little baby sister, Lacey, she's only six months old. My mother and I don't get along at all, our relationship is toxic. I babysit my little sister every night whilst she goes to work as a nurse at the hospital, and when I go to school in the morning, she's usually asleep or busy, I only see her for about five minutes everyday, because as soon as I'm home from school, she's off.
I live in small house right in the city centre of Bath, I've had many boyfriends, but always ended up with my heart being broken. But that's my life, it's plain, boring. Just average.
"Holly! Get down here! Now!" She said.
I sighed and took a deep breath, I quickly ran downstairs and she was stood in the living room and looked angry.
"Why were you late home yesterday?!" She raised her voice.
"I'm sorry I got held back at the end of my maths lesson, when do you have work?" I asked.
"Soon, go to school." She said sternly.
"I-okay." I said.
I gathered all my school stuff together and began to walk, it's actually a nice walk, through the city and down a long road, when I was walking, I saw people that I recognised, but there was one person, he looked new and was wearing the school uniform. He had blonde curly hair and he was tall. He had blue eyes and he was quite possibly the definition of perfect.
"Excuse me, hi I'm Adam, I was just wondering if you could help me out, I'm new here and I'm not really sure where to go." He said.
"Of course, I'm Holly, what year are you in?" I asked.
"11, you?" He asked.
"Same here, I'll help you out." I smiled.
"Thank you, so do you know where we go?" He asked.
"Yeah, follow me." I said.
"So, where did you move from Adam?" I asked.
"London, it's quite far I guess." He said.
"Cool, what school did you come from?" I asked.
"St Matthews, shit school full of shit teacher to be honest." He said.
"That's the same around here I'm afraid." I smiled.
"I mainly moved because of my dad's job." He said.
"What about your mum?" I asked.
"She erm, she passed away about two years ago. Cancer took her." He said, swallowing a lump in his throat.
"Oh my god, I shouldn't have asked I'm so sorry to hear that!" I said.
"No really, it's okay, it's better you know now." He smiled.
"I'm really sorry to hear that though." I said.
"Me too, anyway, you know something special about me, start talking pretty girl." He smiled. I smiled back.
"Um, well, I have a baby sister, she's six months old." I said.
"Me too, but she's three." Adam said.
"Awe bless!" I said.
"What about your parents?" He asked.
"Well I've never really had a dad, and my mum and I have a really really toxic relationship." I said.
