"I must say, this is certainly the best water I've ever had," Fred told them all as he took a sip.

"Glad there's something good to come from this situation," Alex replied.

"Hey, don't sweat it," Crazy Dave piped up as he kept driving forward. "Wasn't it fun fighting all of those zombies back in the day? Just nonstop fighting and improving our skill?"

"Yeah, but that was different," Josie commented. "Back then, Zomboss didn't have a personal vendetta against us. Now? I can't think of a reason why he'll go easy on us."

"Plus, we have someone else to take care of, now," Alex added as he looked at his daughter, who was sitting down as Sunflower was telling her a story.

"She'll be fine," Peashooter told him with reassurance. "With amazing parents looking out for her, and all."

"Thanks, Pea," Josie told him, "but we're still going to be concerned as long as Zomboss wants us dead."

"Which, at this point, will be when he's dead, himself," Fred noted as he refilled his glass.

"And he's a zombie, so good luck with him having a natural death," Alex sighed.

"So why don't we kill him?" Peashooter asked.

Everyone suddenly went silent, save for Sunflower and her storytelling.

"I'm sorry?" Josie asked.

"I mean, won't that take care of half of our problem? Just kill Zomboss?"

The Johnsens all looked at each other in thought.

"Well, I guess I've just thought he acted so human that I forgot he's still a zombie," Alex commented.

"And it would make us safer..." Josie added as she looked back at Emma.

"Hey, everyone!" Dave suddenly called out. "Look!"

Everyone then directed their gazes to the windshield, where they could see some small buildings in front of them.

"What is that, some sort of village?" Fred asked.

"It would appear so," Dave replied.

"Hm. I guess it would be nice to see other people," Alex commented.

"But how exactly are we supposed to communicate with them?" Josie asked. "I don't think they speak English."

"Don't worry; I got that covered," Dave replied as he reached into the glovebox and pulled out what looked like a pair of wireless earbuds.

"Put these in your ears," he explained. "They'll perceive all outside foreign languages as English to the wearer, as well as translate the wearer's English into the foreign language! This should help us communicate with the natives."

"What about our clothes?" Fred asked. "We're not dressed like we belong."

Dave simply replied by pressing a button on PENNY's dashboard and a bright light shone across the van. When it went away, everyone could instantly notice they had changed attire. The men were wearing nothing but a pale cloth skirt bound by rope, and the girls were wearing the same cloth, but as a full dress.

"I'm not sure how I feel about this..." Alex said uncomfortably. "I feel too naked. Some underwear would at least be nice."

"Hey, at least we won't look out of place," Josie replied. "Besides, you don't look bad at all."

"You're not just saying that because you're obligated to, are you?"

"Eh. Maybe a little."

"Alright," Dave told them all. "Put in your earbuds! We're going to introduce ourselves!"
