You say I'm crazy,

Cause you don't think I know what you've done.

Chapter 7

Cameron Asher

"Ah come on Sky, you're still mad at me?" I tried to pick up his speed since he walked pretty fast, probably to get away from me.

The party from yesterday was a huge success I only forgot that I invited Skylar myself and that I told him to get us some drinks which I never did.

I was really about to get some drinks for us, because he was new here and didn't know anyone yet, but let's just say that something important came up yesterday.

He kept ignoring me as he picked up his pace. His face expression was everything except for happy. I tried to keep up with him and when I walked past him, I immediately stopped him by his shoulders.

"Skylar please, at least just talk to me!" I practically begged him.

"Leave me alone. Happy now?" He snapped at me and tried to walk past me again, but before he could do that I already stepped in front of him so he couldn't get away anymore.

"Not until I know that everything is clear between us" I explained to him.

"What does it even matter to you!?" He asked angry.

For a minute everything went silent between the both of us, because I knew he was right. What did it matter to me? I had no idea why I ever tried to fix this situation. I didn't know him that well and I didn't want to know him either.

I found him weird and wanted to get away from him as far as possible. I probably tried, because of the fact that we had to work together for a long time, but I wasn't so sure about that anymore.

"Cam, I've been waiting for almost a damn hour for you! Where have you been all the time?" He asked me pissed off.

"I- uh- oh you know, Jake needed me" I lied for his own good.

How sad would it sound if he knew that I was wasting my time with a girl?

"You know, I at least expected from you to tell me the truth" He said with a fake laugh and didn't try to look at me anymore.

"What do you mean? I just got involved with something okay!" I tried to defend myself for once.

Who does he think he is? I actually tried to make something good for once and that was also not enough for him. He should have been happy that I tried my best for him.

"Involved with a girl you mean" He muttered while rolling his eyes.

"What? Are you jealous or something?" I asked him with a smirk, thinking back to all my memories with her.

Man, she was hot.

"Listen, that you hate me okay. But that doesn't mean that you have to let me wait there for an entire hour without even returning or thinking about me!" He ignored my question and walked away, looking pretty upset about this whole thing.

I stood there in the hallway with a frown and I saw that a couple of students had seen the whole fiasco. Some people really don't know what privacy is here in high school.

People always try to pry into other people their business. It's not their shit, but they still somehow find it interesting and want to be a part of it which makes them screw everything up.

"Yea, what?" I glared at them which makes them turn around and do whatever the hell they were doing in the first place.

I luckily still had a big influence on the people here.

I tried to be as confident as possible and walked with a smirk towards my next class: maths. Who in the hell does that even invent? As if we're really going to use all of those weird letters and numbers later on. And with that mindset, I walked towards the classroom.

-

After the two longest hours of my life I was finally free again.

Seriously, it always looked like it was going to take an eternity.

"Skylar!" I yelled at him as I see him passing me by.

"Haven't I told you that you should go to hell?" He asked me just as angry as this morning, but he did stop walking this time.

Man, you'd think that after a whole day he'd be cooling down. He acts like a chick.

"Good, you know what? I'll leave you alone if that's what you want" I gave up and was about to walk away.

"Cam wait!"

I mentally cheered, knowing that it worked. I knew he'd be calling me back.

Nobody can stand the power of the Cam Asher, I thought while softly grinning to myself.

I stood still in front of him and looked at his obvious eyes. For some reason I liked to look into them. I've never seen someone with eyes like that.

"Well? Speak up" He interrupted my thoughts.

"Okay, you wanted to know each other better for that assignment, right?" I asked him which he confirms with nodding.

"Let me make it up to you by going out tonight, you can choose whatever you want to do" I offered him.

"Are you serious?" He asked me with wide eyes which I can't help but smile a little about.

I sighed before nodding.
Why did I want to make it up again?

Oh yeah, that stupid assignment.

Normally I would have never done this. Maybe it's good to do something different for once.

One time won't hurt me, right? I'll hopefully get rid of him after the assignment anyways.

"So, what do you want to do after school?" I asked Sky and suddenly he stared at me with this scary face expression and smirked.

I mentally slap myself. What have I done?
