The Morning After

Danielle's P.O.V
Ring ring ring ring
Damn. My alarm. What time was it? Was it really time for school?
Rolling over to my side, I glanced at my phone. 6:55.
HOW LONG HAVE I BEEN SLEEPING WITH MY ALARM GOING OFF?
My bus would come in 5 minutes. Okay Danielle you've got this. I threw my hair in a messy braid and ran to the bathroom brushing my teeth and ripping off my slippers. With my toothbrush still in my mouth I grabbed the first pair of pants I could find and threw them on. Pink sweats with a white flowy tee was not my first pick, but it would do. I put on my uggs not even thinking twice about my appearance. And that's when I saw it. Grayson was in the opposite window. Great. I opened my window quickly while grabbing my bag.
"Looking good," Gray laughed. But it was genuine.
"I woke up 5 minutes ago, don't even try." I rolled my eyes smiling and shut my window ready to turn around when I heard my bus coming down the road. Oh no. I ran down stairs quickly and the bus had already been racing down the road.
"Good morning honey," my mother said exuberantly.
"Not a good morning, I missed the bus!"
"I'll call Lisa, she's driving the twins to school today, she will give you a ride." My cheeks burned but I started smiling.
"Okay well I'm gonna go upstairs to clean myself up I woke up late." I ran back up the steps and opened my bedroom window.
"Gray!" I yelled. The opposite window opened.
"You're back up in your room, thought you had to catch your bus?"
"Already left" I laughed. "I'm riding with you today."
"Great!!!" I went to turn around and-
"Hey Danielle, wanna meet me outside again tonight?"
"Yeah if I make sure to wake up on time the morning after." I said teasing him.
"Hey I made you go to bed, you wanted to stay up!!" Gray insisted! It was true.
"I wonder why!" I closed my window and walked over to my vanity.
Grayson's P.O.V
She said, I wonder why. I cannot WAIT for tonight. I miss Brielle so much but I am falling for this girl that I've known for a day. She's confident, smart, sassy, and all I could ask for.
I wonder if she noticed I kissed the top of her head yesterday.
Danielle's P.O.V
Looking in my vanity mirror, my faced seemed pretty much clear. I guess I'll just bum it today, let me put on some better clothes though. I put on an oversized PINK sweatshirt and yoga pants with slip on uggs. I am the whitest girl alive today. But I really don't care.
Kyle's P.O.V
Waking up, I roll over and realize there is a person sleeping next to me.
"Hey Kyle!" Marilyn said. Oh god.
"Uh how did you get here?" I asked. I couldn't remember much from the night before.
"You asked me to come over late at night last night like 12 pm."
"You mean 12 am Marilyn?" I corrected her.
She's so stupid.
"Oops!" Great, I must have been drinking again. I miss Danielle so much that my late night thoughts take over my self control. Maybe one of these days I could get her back. That's it. I'm gonna come over tonight and tell her how I feel.
Danielle's P.O.V
"You ready?" Gray and Ethan were standing at the door.
"I guess, I'm just half asleep" I mumbled.
"Hey darling!" Lisa greeted me, she was so sweet.
"Good morning Lisa!"
"Danielle I don't think any of us have your number, mind putting it in?" Ethan brought up a good point.
"Yeah don't worry." We all got in the car and buckled our seat belts while I put my number in both of their phones. That's when I saw the contact name in Gray's phone-Brielle❤️. Who is she?
"Okay kids, time for school!"
