A couple of minutes of walking later)

-so soul why were you riding your bike anyway?"maka asked as she twirls and stood in front of me

-I was going to get some stuff for breakfast "I said as I tightened my hood

-your a bakka you know that right? " she asked teasingly

-yeah yeah let's go before it starts snowing cool guys don't like getting colds "I said

   We walked about ten minutes before a smoke starting forming around us suddenly maka fell she was breathing but unconscious I turned my arm into a blade

-who are you show yourself! " I yelled looking around but I heard two loud bangs my vision went blurred as a saw two guys in gas masks take my wallet and makas cash from her pouch

-m...aka..."I managed before passing out

A unknown amount of time later\
Still souls POV)

    I woke on a couch my side and arm hurt like hell I looked around and saw I was at kids place I was cold and Liz was messing throwing away bloody bandages

-h...how did we get here......where's maka "I asked in pain

-she's alright she's with kid and patty making hot chocolate to warm her and you up now don't move your wounds will reopen we can't go to steins due to the snow " she said and explained

-d...damn it"I said as I tried to move my arm which was re-bandaged and my shoulder was now bandaged too

-you were shot twice "she said got up and walked into the kitchen a few moments later maka,Liz,patty and kid walked in

-soul your awake " kid asked surprised

-yeah two bullets won't kill me "I said joking

    Maka walked to me and slapped me

-don't joke! You were shot twice and almost died Bakka don't scare me like that !!" Maka yelled almost crying

-well sorry I didn't want them hurting you! "I said trying to play off the pain I was feeling in my side

-soul,maka stop before you two end up both passing out, you both have hypothermia you know " kid said

-sorry soul, you just scared me I mean without y..." Maka said  as her face reddened like a tomato

-n..never mind "maka said quickly

-Christ sorry don't nag the cool out of me" I said teasingly before my vision blurred

-ok he's passing out I'm calling stein again "I heard a voice say

-stay with me soul " I heard a soft voice say before everything went black
