Chapter 10

"Rose pass me your potion bag" rufio commanded.

I was about to take my backpack off but I heard a zipping behind me "what are you doing newt?"

"Making it easier" he said passing rufio the cosmetic bag. "A thank you would be nice"

I just rolled my eyes "what do you need the potions for?" I asked Rufio

"Light harms ghosts which will make them attack" he replied taking a small swig of a blue bottled potion.

"Here" he said passing me the potion.

I inspected it for a couple seconds before bringing it to my nose. I scrunched up my face in disgust and gagged "that smells like the insides of a fish"

"It's actually a shark" Rufio corrected "its a night vision potion. Drink it if you don't want to fall on your ass in the dark"

With that said I quickly swigged a little bit before passing it to newt. He gagged before drinking it and passing it back to Rufio. After a couple seconds the darkness of the cave began to brighten.

"Cmon" rufio said carrying on walking further into the cave. I silently followed after him and by the foot steps behind me I knew newt was too.

A airy laugh echoed through the cave. I jumped back into newt who quickly supported us from falling over. Rufio chuckled "first timers"

I rolled my eyes and carried on walking. "I don't like this place" I mumbled

"Really? I think it's delightful!" Rufio exclaimed sarcastically.

"Will you shut up!" Newt snapped whilst glaring at him.

Rufio rolled his eyes and mumbled something in latin, before walking off more into the cave.

"What did he say?" Newt asked me

"He asked what crawled up your ass and died" I replied while quickly glancing at him before walking off to find Rufio.

"Boo!" A voice shouted behind me. I screamed and turned around. Two black eyed kids were laughing at me.

"Bloody hell" newt mumbled seeing them when he turned the corner.

They laughed again and disappeared into thin air. I turned to newt "now I really don't like this place" newt nodded

Third person POV

"Tell us where they are nibs!" Peter screamed at him

Nibs kept an emotionless face whilst quickly glancing at Peter. He began to suck on his teeth "like I said before they went hunting"

Peter banged his hands on the table. Tink jumped a bit out of fright. "Your lying nibs!"

Nibs hands started to shake. He quickly sat on them hoping Peter wouldn't see. But of course Peter Pan would notice.

Peter glared at him "alright nibs have it your way" Peter then grabbed nibs by the ear and started to drag him out of the house.

"Peter!" Tink yelled in fear. But Peter Kept going.

As soon as he got out of the treehouse all the happy lost boys quieted down and stared in shock.

"Peter what are you doing?" Thomas asked stepping forward.

"Showings nibs what happens to liars. Its seems he forgot" Peter seethed out before stomping of to the forest, pulling nibs harder. Nibs groaned in pain.

The curious ex-gladers followed quietly whilst the others stood frozen with terror written all over their faces.

"This isn't good" Felix said to them.

"Peter please!" Nibs pleaded as soon as they reached the river. Thomas was about to come in to help him but flew back. Peter put a protection spell around him and nibs.

"Tell me where they are nibs!" Peter commanded again Nibs stayed frozen. Too scared to reveal what he was sworn into secrecy. Peter smirked "fine then"

With that said he forced nibs head into the water. The boys behind him started shouting at him to stop. But Peter wanted justice.

When nibs stopped fighting Peter pulled him up. Nibs gasped for air whilst coughing up water. "I'm warning you nibs!"

"Tell me!" Peter growled out. But nibs didn't say anything again, making Peter push him into the water again.

"Let him go Peter!" Curly shouted whilst him and the rest of the old lost boys arrived. "I thought you left this past behind you?"

"I did curly. But you see this little rat" he pulled nibs out of the water again " he knows where rufio and newt are"

Curly shook his head "no Peter it's not because of them it's because of rose. Trust me I was exactly the same when bee went missing"

"Bee never loved you! You might of loved her but she didn't love you!" Peter screamed at him. Curly shut up after that. "I'm done with this! Where are they?" Nibs lip started shivering.

"Night terror!" Tink yelled pushing through the crowd "they're on night terror!"

The original lost boys gasped "what are they doing there?" Twin two asked

"Looks like they're asking for death" Felix replied folding his arms and leaning back on the tree behind him.

"They are looking for The lake of imperium" Tink said holding the book out to Peter. Peter let go of nibs and walked over to Tink, dropping the force field. He took the book from her "I found it under newts bed"

"Why would they go there?" Peter asked looking up at Tink.

"You know why people drink from that water" Tink said raising her eyebrows.

Peter froze, eyes widening and face paling. "No" he let out in a breath "no! No! No!"

"Yes Peter one of them has a person in their head. And I have an idea who it is and who's head they're in" Tink said seriously.

"Ursula" Peter growled out. All the boys gasped, even the new arrivals. They might not have been there for the battle but they heard how brutal it was.

Tink nodded "and we both know exactly what would happen if she drunk from the water"

"I need to stop her" Peter said before running off. Ignoring the calls of everyone behind him and rain that started to pour down. He needed to get to them and stop Rose before she does something extremely terrible.
