Dinah and Camila don't talk about the kiss.

They continue their Christmas break as normally as possible; Dinah shows Camila the ropes in babysitting, Camila and Dinah go to a trampoline park where Camila gets a trampoline burn on her chin after being peer pressured by Dinah and her cousins into trying a backflip, they eat more food, Camila gains the nickname 'Lo Mein' by all of Dinah's family because of how noodle-y her limbs are, and Camila continues to look at Dinah like a love sick puppy. Completely normal.

Camila finds herself daydreaming about their kiss a lot, she can't stop thinking about the taste of Dinah's lips or how soft they were or how warm Dinah's hands were as they brushed against her cheek and the back of her neck. She wants to talk about it, or more like, she wants to ask the girl if she can do it again, but she doesn't want to push Dinah and she definately doesn't want to ruin the normalcy between them after weeks of ignoring each other and awkward encounters. She decides she will wait for Dinah to bring it up.

Dinah doesn't bring it up.

Not when the two girls are alone in their room, Camila sitting in the same spot as she was when they kissed and definitely not when Camila is staring at the alarm clock each night and watching it turn to midnight in hopes that maybe Dinah will want to kiss until 12:01 again. Not when they are riding in the car on their way home from the airport a few days later. Not during the whole plane ride from California to New York. Not in the cab on the way back to their school. And unfortunately not as they unpack their bags in their empty room; possibly the last alone time they will have for a while, seeing as the other girls are supposed to be coming back today as well.

Camila pretends not to mind. She should be lucky she was kissed in the first place, not silently begging for more.

Normani and Ally are the first to barrel through the door, screaming and tackling the two girls into a giant hug. Ally scolds Camila about trying to pretend like she had somewhere to go during Christmas and Camila apologizes and promises that next time she would go with one of them, although, Ally doesn't know the reason why Camila had nowhere to go (only Dinah knows), she also knows not to push it.

Ally highlighted her hair a few shades lighter and they all take turns to compliment the girl before moving to Normani who temporarily dyed her tips silver.

They all hug and manage to calm down, of course, an hour later Lauren gets there and they all have to freak out and group hug once more.

"So tell me about your Christmas break everyone?" Ally calls into her dorm living room from the kitchen, she walks in with warm chocolate chip cookies. The plate is barely set onto the table when everyone reaches for one at the same time. Ally scowls and all of the girls flash her cheeky smiles.

"My whole family came over for New Year's along with some of my family friends. Ben was there." Normani admits as she chews her food. A groan sounds around the room. At this point, they all knew who Ben was, although Lucy and Camila had yet to actually see what he looked like.

"What happened?" Dinah asks, expecting drama.

Normani shrugs. "Surprisingly not much. He was on his best behavior being around our parents and all. He looked really messed up in the head, like he has always been rather...." She searches for the right word.

"Unpredictable?"

"Unhinged?"

"Mentally unstable?"
