"Willow, honey it's time to get up for school!" My mom yells up the stairs, with her voice cherping "Come on dear its the first day of school. We don't want you to be late do we?!" I mumble under my breath "you know maybe that won't be such a bad thing."
As I make myself get out of bed I regret every move I make. I go into my bathroom and look in the mirror. "You'll be okay Willow. We will get through this. It's just like every other day." Trying to paint a smile on my face. I brush my auburn hair and put on my over warned hoodie.
I go to run down the stairs when I hear my brother from behind. "Yo! Will have a great day at school ok!" He says while he pokes his head from his room with a giant smile on his face.
"Yeah ok. Because school is always fun for me." I declare rolling my eyes. "Come on Kyle you know I hate going to school."
"Oh come one Will. How can you! your Willow White. I thrived in school." Kyle announced with a big grin.
I just shrug not knowing what to say to him. You see my brother was the king of Black Creek High. He is practically the polar opposite of me. With his dark brown hair, blue eyes, and great smile. All mixed with an awesome attitude, no one can stand to be mad at him. You can't help but love the guy.
As I go down stairs I see my mom kiss my dad. I just can't help but to feel warm inside. I wish I could fine what they have. My mom and dad are so in love even after all these years. They met in high school, and have been together ever since. I'm just glad they are happy. It makes it easy to fake the smile.
"Have a good day at work dear." My mom says to my dad. My mom is probably the happiest person you will ever meet. With her long auburn hair (which I obviously get from her) and green eyes. I have never seen my mom not smile.
"I will be home around six. I love you Merry." My dad says to my mom. With his dark brown hair and dark blue eyes. His name is Joe, and he looks like someone you just don't want to mess with. Yeah he is kinda scary looking with him being 6'2 and built, but really he is just a big teddy bear.
"Bye Willow have a good day at school." My dad states with a look that I can only describe as pity.
My dad is the only one who knows how much I hate getting up in the morning. I mean he thinks it's because I just have trouble sleeping but in reality. Sleeping the only thing that gets me out of this hell-hole I call my life. When I open my eyes is when the pain starts. When I feel the rejection comes into reality. When I feel like no one sees me in the world.
"I will daddy. Have a good day at work." I say reassuringly.
When he went out the door. Kyle comes down the stairs saying he's off to work. Then running out after dad.
"Mom, do I really have to go? Can you just home school me." I beg trying to sound like I'm joking. But I just want to stay home and be dead to the world.
"Oh my baby girl, you know I can't do that. Now come on let's get my smart beautiful girl to school." She responded with a gleaming smile on her face. How is she always so happy. I wish I had some of that.
After a quick ride in the car. I walk to my locker carful of not looking completely dead, I turn to see a new girl, she looked like she was a little lost. I kind of feel bad for her, but it's just best if I keep to myself.
"Um can you help me? I cant seem to find my class." asked a voice from be hind me.
Wait is she talking to me? No. why would she be? I'm like invisible to everyone. Ha-ha, that would have been funny. Someone that sees me. Right nice joke Willow.
Right then I felt a hand on my back. In one swift motion, I shoved myself in my own locker. Then made a noise I didn't even think was able to make.
