Harry's POV
I hope Hermione will be okay this year, she seemed sad, not because she broke up with Ron, but because we weren't going to attend our last year of Hogwarts with her. She seemed fine breaking up with Ron, but he on the other hand wasn't so keen on breaking up with her, he avoided breakfast which we all know is nothing like Ron.
Anyways, he and I have been assigned to become Hogwarts personal security, protecting the outer walls of the school, I find it pretty exciting to be going back there but Ron wants to be anywhere but there, I remember him saying "I'd rather be stuck at Malfoy Manor again"which also means he misses his brother, but you got to feel sorry for George, he lost his other half, now he just walks around the house like a zombie.
The Heads of the school will protect the inside of the school, meaning the only danger on the inside of the school is a couple of kids who have braces and were making out get stuck.
"Ron!, get out of bed we are going to miss the train to Hogwarts" Seriously I reckon he could sleep for weeks at a time, he hasn't really done anything since Hermione said she was leaving in the middle of summer holidays, probably didn't want to be around moping Weasley's.
"Argh! I don't want to, you know that!" He always cranky in the morning
"If you don't you'll never succeed in getting out of the Auror program, and becoming a real Auror, you know to protect wizards and muggles alike" I heard him groan again "I'll get your mum to wake you up" At that I heard fast pacing footsteps and a door open and close.
"Did he really just get out of bed! Isn't he supposed to be leaving on the train soon with us" As soon as I heard that I was ready to scream in delight, like a girl yes, but I'm a guy so I just turned around to see my girlfriend, Ginny.
"Uhh, yeah he did, I had to use the mum excuse again" I walked up to her and kissed her on the lips.
"He's an idiot" Ginny said
"Yes he is" I said back, I went to kiss her again, but....
"Can you please not kiss my sister in front of me, it's bad enough you two are in a serious relationship, but you don't have to show any lovey-dovey stuff" Ron decided to interrupt
"Oh really Ronald, you have no proper vocabulary, it's called affection" Ron and Ginny had their usual morning glare.
"Alright I guess we should be getting you off to school" I booped Ginny on the nose and we left in the buggy that the Ministry left for us to get to King's Cross Station
Pansy's POV
It's been a week since that hide 'n' seek game and I've been third wheeling for a while, luckily I haven't had to watch them have another heavy make-out session. Hermione and Draco are starting to freak me out, with them being all affectionate, it makes me wonder if I'll ever get someone in my life, and they'll treat me with the respect I deserve, people think I'm the Slytherin slut, but I'm still a virgin.
Hopefully that will change this year!
"Pansy, are you alright?" Hermione asked
"Yeah I'm perfectly fine, happy even" I replied putting up a fake smile
"Your jealous!" Draco butted in
"I most certainly am not" I retaliated, shit! I don't know why but it just makes me anxious for the new year, my life is annoying at time but i didn't think I'd get all that annoyed about being basically the only single person that would be repeating their seventh year and still single.
"I can hook you up with a friend of mine, he is a bit stubbon but he knows you and you know him" Hermione is such a sweetie.
"Alright, I'll give it a shot, who is he?" Why, you stupid girl, you don't want to prove them right by saying that.
